6Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85אֶת־'et-H853tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947the woodעֲצֵ֣י'a.TzeiH6086for the burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֗הha.'o.LahH5930and placedוַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙vai.Ya.semH7760it onעַל־'al-H5921his sonבְּנ֔וֹbe.NoH1121Isaacיִצְחָ֣קyitz.ChakH3327.He himself carriedוַיִּקַּ֣ח בְּיָד֔וֹvai.yi.Kach be.ya.DoH3947 H3027אֶת־'et-H853the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and the sacrificial knifeהַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶתha.ma.'a.Khe.letH3979,and the twoשְׁנֵיהֶ֖םshe.nei.HemH8147of them walked onוַיֵּלְכ֥וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.

7Then Isaacיִצְחָ֜קyitz.ChakH3327saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413his fatherאָבִיו֙'a.VivH1Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֤ם'av.ra.HamH85וַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “My fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1!” “Here I amהִנֶּ֣נִּֽיhi.Ne.niH2009,my sonבְנִ֑יve.NiH1121,”he repliedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “The fireהָאֵשׁ֙ha.'EshH784and the woodוְהָ֣עֵצִ֔יםve.Ha.'e.TzimH6086are hereהִנֵּ֤הhi.NehH2009,”said Isaacוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “but whereוְאַיֵּ֥הve.'ai.YehH346is the lambהַשֶּׂ֖הha.SehH7716for the burnt offeringלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930?”

8Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֔ם'av.ra.HamH85answeredוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Godאֱלֹהִ֞ים'E.lo.HimH430Himselfwill provideיִרְאֶה־yir.'eh-H7200the lambהַשֶּׂ֛הha.SehH7716for the burnt offeringלְעֹלָ֖הle.'o.LahH5930,my sonבְּנִ֑יbe.NiH1121.”And the twoשְׁנֵיהֶ֖םshe.nei.HemH8147walked onוַיֵּלְכ֥וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.

9When they arrivedוַיָּבֹ֗אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935atאֶֽל־'el-H413the placeהַמָּקוֹם֮ha.ma.kOmH4725אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834Godהָאֱלֹהִים֒ha.'E.lo.HimH430had designatedאָֽמַר־'a.mar-H559,Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85אֶת־'et-H853builtוַיִּ֨בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196thereשָׁ֤םshamH8033and arrangedוַֽיַּעֲרֹ֖ךְvai.ya.'a.RokhH6186אֶת־'et-H853the woodהָעֵצִ֑יםha.'e.TzimH6086.He boundוַֽיַּעֲקֹד֙vai.ya.'a.KodH6123אֶת־'et-H853his sonבְּנ֔וֹbe.NoH1121Isaacיִצְחָ֣קyitz.ChakH3327and placedוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760himאֹתוֹ֙'o.ToH853onעַל־'al-H5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,atopמִמַּ֖עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605the woodלָעֵצִֽים׃la.'e.TzimH6086.

10Then Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85אֶת־'et-H853reached outוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971his handיָד֔וֹya.DoH3027and tookוַיִּקַּ֖חvai.yi.KachH3947אֶת־'et-H853the knifeהַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶתha.ma.'a.Khe.letH3979to slaughterלִשְׁחֹ֖טlish.ChotH7819אֶת־'et-H853his sonבְּנֽוֹ׃be.NoH1121.

11Just then the angelמַלְאַ֤ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068called outוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121to himאֵלָ֜יו'e.LavH413fromמִן־min-H4480heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064וַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם׀'av.ra.HamH85,Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85!” “Here I amהִנֵּֽנִי׃hi.Ne.niH2009,”he repliedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.
