4Thisאֵ֣לֶּה'E.lehH428isthe accountתוֹלְד֧וֹתtol.DotH8435of the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֛יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and the earthוְהָאָ֖רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776when they were createdבְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑םbe.hi.ba.re.'AmH1254,in the dayבְּי֗וֹםbe.YomH3117that the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430madeעֲשׂ֛וֹתa.SotH6213themאֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃'E.retz ve.sha.Ma.yimH776 H8064.

5Nowוְכֹ֣ל׀ve.KholH3605noshrubשִׂ֣יחַSi.achH7880of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֗הha.sa.DehH7704had yetטֶ֚רֶםTe.remH2962appearedיִֽהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961on the earthבָאָ֔רֶץva.'A.retzH776,nor had anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605plantעֵ֥שֶׂב'E.sevH6212of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704טֶ֣רֶםTe.remH2962sproutedיִצְמָ֑חyitz.MachH6779,forכִּי֩kiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430had notלֹ֨אlo'H3808yetsent rainהִמְטִ֜ירhim.TirH4305uponעַל־'al-H5921the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and there was noאַ֔יִן'A.yinH369manוְאָדָ֣םve.'a.DamH120to cultivateלַֽעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647אֶת־'et-H853the groundהָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃Ha.'a.da.MahH127.
