Genesis 16:9-13

9So the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068toldוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559her, “Returnשׁ֖וּבִיShu.viH7725toאֶל־'el-H413your mistressגְּבִרְתֵּ֑ךְge.vir.TekhH1404and submitוְהִתְעַנִּ֖יve.hit.'a.NiH6031to her authorityתַּ֥חַת יָדֶֽיהָ׃Ta.chat ya.Dei.haH8478 H3027.”

10Then the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔הmal.'Akh Yah.wehH4397 H3068addedוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I will greatly multiplyH7235אֶת־'et-H853your offspringזַרְעֵ֑ךְzar.'EkhH2233so thatוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808they will be too numerousמֵרֹֽב׃me.RoH7230to countיִסָּפֵ֖רyi.sa.FerH5608.”

11The angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068proceededוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559: “Beholdהִנָּ֥ךְhi.NakhH2009,you have conceivedהָרָ֖הha.RahH2030and will bearוְיֹלַ֣דְתְּve.yo.LadtH3205a sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121.And you shall name himוְקָרָ֤את שְׁמוֹ֙ve.ka.Rat she.MoH7121 H8034Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵ֔אלyish.ma.'ElH3458,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the LORDיְהוָ֖ה אֶל־Yah.weh 'el-H3068 H413has heardשָׁמַ֥עsha.Ma'H8085your cry of afflictionעָנְיֵֽךְ׃'a.ne.YekhH6040.

12Heוְה֤וּאve.Hu'H1931will beיִהְיֶה֙yih.YehH1961a wild donkeyפֶּ֣רֶאPe.re'H6501of amanאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120,and his handיָד֣וֹya.DoH3027will be against everyoneבַכֹּ֔לva.KolH3605,and everyone’sכֹּ֖לkolH3605handוְיַ֥דve.YadH3027against him;he will liveיִשְׁכֹּֽן׃yish.KonH7931in hostilityוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921towardפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440allכָל־khol-H3605his brothersאֶחָ֖יו'e.ChavH251.”

13So Hagar gaveוַתִּקְרָ֤אva.tik.Ra'H7121this nameשֵׁם־shem-H8034to the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068who had spokenהַדֹּבֵ֣רha.do.VerH1696to herאֵלֶ֔יהָ'e.Lei.haH413: “You areאַתָּ֖ה'a.TahH859the Godאֵ֣ל'elH410who sees meרֳאִ֑יro.'IH7210,”forכִּ֣יkiH3588she saidאָֽמְרָ֗ה'a.me.RahH559, “Hereהֲלֹ֛םha.LomH1988I haveהֲגַ֥םha.GamH1571seenרָאִ֖יתִי אַחֲרֵ֥יra.'I.ti 'a.cha.ReiH7200 H310the One who sees meרֹאִֽי׃ro.'IH7200!”
