10וְהָיָ֞הve.ha.YahH1961And whenכִּ֥יkiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430bringsיְבִיאֲךָ֣׀ye.vi.'a.KhaH935you intoאֶל־'el-H413the landהָאָ֜רֶץha.'A.retzH776אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834He sworeנִשְׁבַּ֧עnish.Ba'H7650to your fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֛יךָla.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,to Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֛םle.'av.ra.HamH85,Isaacלְיִצְחָ֥קle.yitz.ChakH3327,and Jacobוּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֖בu.le.ya.'a.KoH3290,that He would giveלָ֣תֶתLa.tetH5414you—a land withgreatגְּדֹלֹ֥תge.do.LotH1419and splendidוְטֹבֹ֖תve.to.VotH2896citiesעָרִ֛ים'a.RimH5892thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you did notלֹא־lo'-H3808buildבָנִֽיתָ׃va.Ni.taH1129,

15Forכִּ֣יkiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,who is among youבְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָbe.kir.Be.chaH7130,is a jealousקַנָּ֛אka.Na'H7067Godאֵ֥ל'elH410.Otherwiseפֶּן־pen-H6435the angerאַף־'af-H639of the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430will be kindledיֶ֠חֱרֶהYe.che.rehH2734against you,and He will wipe youוְהִשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔ve.hish.Mi.de.khaH8045offמֵעַ֖לme.'AlH5921the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָאֲדָמָֽה׃ סha.'a.da.MahH127.

20In the futureמָחָ֖רma.CharH4279,whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588your sonבִנְךָ֛vin.KhaH1121asksיִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ לֵאמֹ֑רyish.'a.le.Kha le.MorH7592 H559, “Whatמָ֣הmahH4100is the meaning of the decreesהָעֵדֹ֗תha.'e.DotH5713and statutesוְהַֽחֻקִּים֙ve.ha.chu.KimH2706and ordinancesוְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔יםve.ha.mish.pa.TimH4941thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430אֶתְכֶֽם׃'et.KhemH853has commanded youצִוָּ֛הtzi.VahH6680?”

21then you are to tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559himלְבִנְךָ֔le.vin.KhaH1121, “We wereהָיִ֥ינוּha.Yi.nuH1961slavesעֲבָדִ֛ים'a.va.DimH5650of Pharaohלְפַרְעֹ֖הle.far.'OhH6547in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,but the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068brought us outוַיּוֹצִיאֵ֧נוּvai.yo.tzi.'E.nuH3318of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֖יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714with a mightyחֲזָקָֽה׃cha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֥דbe.YadH3027.

22Before our eyesלְעֵינֵֽינוּ׃le.'ei.Nei.nuH5869the LORDיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068inflictedוַיִּתֵּ֣ןvai.yi.TenH5414greatגְּדֹלִ֨יםge.do.LimH1419and devastatingוְרָעִ֧ים׀ve.ra.'ImH7451signsאוֹתֹ֣ת'o.TotH226and wondersוּ֠מֹפְתִיםU.mo.fe.timH4159on Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֛יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,on Pharaohבְּפַרְעֹ֥הbe.far.'OhH6547,and on allוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605his householdבֵּית֖וֹbei.ToH1004.

23But He broughtהוֹצִ֣יאho.Tzi'H3318us outוְאוֹתָ֖נוּve.'o.Ta.nuH853from thereמִשָּׁ֑םmi.ShamH8033toלְמַ֙עַן֙le.Ma.'anH4616lead us inהָבִ֣יאha.Vi'H935אֹתָ֔נוּ'o.Ta.nuH853and giveלָ֤תֶתLa.tetH5414usאֶת־'et-H853the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He had swornנִשְׁבַּ֖עnish.Ba'H7650to our fathersלַאֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃la.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1.

24And the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068commanded usוַיְצַוֵּ֣נוּvay.tza.Ve.nuH6680to observeלַעֲשׂוֹת֙la.'a.sOtH6213אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428statutesהַחֻקִּ֣יםha.chu.KimH2706and to fearלְיִרְאָ֖הle.yir.'AhH3372אֶת־'et-H853the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,that we may always be prosperousלְט֥וֹב כָּל־ הַיָּמִ֔יםle.Tov kol- hai.ya.MimH2896 H3605 H3117and preservedלְחַיֹּתֵ֖נוּle.chai.yo.Te.nuH2421,as we are to this dayכְּהַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ke.hai.Yom ha.ZehH3117 H2088.
