10And it shall be, when the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall have broughtיְבִיאֲךָ֣׀ye.vi.'a.KhaH935thee into the landהָאָ֜רֶץha.'A.retzH776which he swareנִשְׁבַּ֧עnish.Ba'H7650unto thy fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֛יךָla.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,to Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֛םle.'av.ra.HamH85,to Isaacלְיִצְחָ֥קle.yitz.ChakH3327,and to Jacobוּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֖בu.le.ya.'a.KoH3290,to giveלָ֣תֶתLa.tetH5414thee greatגְּדֹלֹ֥תge.do.LotH1419and goodlyוְטֹבֹ֖תve.to.VotH2896citiesעָרִ֛ים'a.RimH5892,which thou buildedstבָנִֽיתָ׃va.Ni.taH1129not,

11And housesוּבָ֨תִּ֜יםu.Va.TimH1004fullמְלֵאִ֣יםme.le.'ImH4392of all goodטוּב֮tuvH2898things,which thou filledstמִלֵּאתָ֒mi.le.TaH4390not, and wellsוּבֹרֹ֤תu.vo.RotH953diggedחֲצוּבִים֙cha.tzu.VimH2672,which thou diggedstחָצַ֔בְתָּcha.Tzav.taH2672not, vineyardsכְּרָמִ֥יםke.ra.MimH3754and olive treesוְזֵיתִ֖יםve.zei.TimH2132,which thou plantedstנָטָ֑עְתָּna.Ta.'e.taH5193not; when thou shalt have eatenוְאָכַלְתָּ֖ve.'a.khal.TaH398and be fullוְשָׂבָֽעְתָּ׃ve.sa.Va.'e.taH7646;

12Thenbewareהִשָּׁ֣מֶרhi.Sha.merH8104lest thou forgetתִּשְׁכַּ֖חtish.KachH7911the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,which brought thee forthהוֹצִֽיאֲךָ֛ho.tzi.'a.KhaH3318out of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,from the houseמִבֵּ֥יתmi.BeitH1004of bondageעֲבָדִֽים׃'a.va.DimH5650.

13Thou shalt fearתִּירָ֖אti.Ra'H3372the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,and serveתַעֲבֹ֑דta.'a.VodH5647him, and shalt swearתִּשָּׁבֵֽעַ׃ti.sha.Ve.a'H7650by his nameוּבִשְׁמ֖וֹu.vish.MoH8034.

14Ye shall not goH3212afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,of the godsמֵאֱלֹהֵי֙me.'e.lo.HeiH430of the peopleהָֽעַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971which areround aboutסְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃se.vi.vo.tei.KhemH5439you;

15(For the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430isa jealousקַנָּ֛אka.Na'H7067Godאֵ֥ל'elH410amongבְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָbe.kir.Be.chaH7130you) lest the angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430be kindledיֶ֠חֱרֶהYe.che.rehH2734against thee, and destroyוְהִשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔ve.hish.Mi.de.khaH8045thee from off the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָאֲדָמָֽה׃ סha.'a.da.MahH127.

16Ye shall not temptתְנַסּ֔וּte.na.SuH5254the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,as ye temptedנִסִּיתֶ֖םni.si.TemH5254himin Massahבַּמַּסָּֽה׃ba.ma.SahH4532.

17Ye shall diligentlyשָׁמ֣וֹרsha.MorH8104keepתִּשְׁמְר֔וּןtish.me.RunH8104the commandmentsמִצְוֹ֖תmitz.VotH4687of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,and his testimoniesוְעֵדֹתָ֥יוve.'e.do.TavH5713,and his statutesוְחֻקָּ֖יוve.chu.KavH2706,which he hath commandedצִוָּֽךְ׃tzi.VakhH6680thee.

20Andwhen thy sonבִנְךָ֛vin.KhaH1121askethיִשְׁאָלְךָ֥yish.'a.le.KhaH7592thee in time to comeמָחָ֖רma.CharH4279,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, What meanthe testimoniesהָעֵדֹ֗תha.'e.DotH5713,and the statutesוְהַֽחֻקִּים֙ve.ha.chu.KimH2706,and the judgmentsוְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔יםve.ha.mish.pa.TimH4941,which the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430hath commandedצִוָּ֛הtzi.VahH6680you?

21Then thou shalt sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto thy sonלְבִנְךָ֔le.vin.KhaH1121,We were Pharaoh’sלְפַרְעֹ֖הle.far.'OhH6547bondmenעֲבָדִ֛ים'a.va.DimH5650in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714;and the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068brought us outוַיּוֹצִיאֵ֧נוּvai.yo.tzi.'E.nuH3318of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֖יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714with a mightyחֲזָקָֽה׃cha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֥דbe.YadH3027:

24And the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068commandedוַיְצַוֵּ֣נוּvay.tza.Ve.nuH6680us to doלַעֲשׂוֹת֙la.'a.sOtH6213all these statutesהַחֻקִּ֣יםha.chu.KimH2706,to fearלְיִרְאָ֖הle.yir.'AhH3372the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,for our goodלְט֥וֹבle.TovH2896alwaysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117,that he might preserve us aliveלְחַיֹּתֵ֖נוּle.chai.yo.Te.nuH2421, as it isat this dayכְּהַיּ֥וֹםke.hai.YomH3117.
