5At thatהַהִ֔ואha.Hiv'H1931timeבָּעֵ֣תba.'EtH6256Iאָ֠נֹכִי'A.no.khiH595was standingעֹמֵ֨ד'o.MedH5975betweenבֵּין־bein-H996the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068and youוּבֵֽינֵיכֶם֙u.vei.nei.KhemH996to declareלְהַגִּ֥ידle.ha.GidH5046to youאֶת־'et-H853the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,becauseכִּ֤יkiH3588you were afraidיְרֵאתֶם֙ye.re.TemH3372ofמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440the fireהָאֵ֔שׁha.'EshH784and would notוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808go upעֲלִיתֶ֥ם'a.li.TemH5927the mountainבָּהָ֖רba.HarH2022.And He saidלֵאמֹֽר׃ סle.MorH559:

6“Iאָֽנֹכִי֙'a.no.KhiH595am the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,whoאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834brought you outהוֹצֵאתִ֛יךָho.tze.Ti.khaH3318of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,out of the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of slaveryעֲבָדִֽ֑ים׃'a.va.DimH5650.

7You shall haveיִהְיֶ֥ה־yih.Yeh-H1961noלֹ֣אlo'H3808otherאֲחֵרִ֖֜ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֥֨ים'E.lo.HimH430beforeעַל־'al-H5921Meפָּנָֽ֗יַ׃pa.Na.iH6440.

8You shall notלֹֽ֣א־Lo'-H3808makeתַעֲשֶׂ֥ה־ta.'a.Seh-H6213for yourselfan idolפֶ֣֙סֶל֙׀fe.selH6459in the formתְּמוּנָ֔֡הte.mu.NahH8544אֲשֶׁ֤֣ר'a.SherH834of anythingכָּל־kol-H3605in the heavensבַּשָּׁמַ֣֙יִם֙׀ba.sha.Ma.yimH8064aboveמִמַּ֔֡עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר֩va.'a.SherH834,on the earthבָּאָ֖֨רֶץba.'A.retzH776belowמִתָּ֑֜חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478וַאֲשֶׁ֥רva.'a.SherH834,or in the watersבַּמַּ֖֣יִם׀ba.Ma.yimH4325beneathמִתַּ֥֣חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478לָאָֽ֗רֶץ׃la.'A.RetzH776.

9You shall notלֹא־lo'-H3808bow downתִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥֣הtish.ta.cha.VehH7812to themוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808or worship themתָעָבְדֵ֑ם֒ta.'a.ve.DemH5647;forכִּ֣יkiH3588Iאָנֹכִ֞י'a.no.KhiH595,the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,am a jealousקַנָּ֔אka.Na'H7067Godאֵ֣ל'elH410,visitingפֹּ֠קֵדPo.kedH6485the iniquityעֲוֹ֨ן'a.VonH5771of the fathersאָב֧וֹת'a.VotH1onעַל־'al-H5921their childrenבָּנִ֛ים וְעַל־ba.Nim ve.'al-H1121 H5921to the thirdשִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים וְעַל־shi.le.Shim ve.'al-H8029 H5921and fourthרִבֵּעִ֖יםri.be.'ImH7256generationsof those who hate Meלְשֹׂנְאָֽ֑י׃le.so.ne.'AiH8130,

10but showingוְעֹ֤֥שֶׂהve.'O.sehH6213loving devotionחֶ֖֙סֶד֙che.sedH2617to a thousandלַֽאֲלָפִ֑֔יםla.'a.la.FimH505generationsof those who love Meלְאֹהֲבַ֖יle.'o.ha.VaiH157and keepוּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥יu.le.sho.me.ReiH8104My commandmentsמִצְוֹתָֽי׃ סmitz.vo.iH4687.

11You shall notלֹ֥אlo'H3808takeתִשָּׂ֛אti.Sa'H5375אֶת־'et-H853the nameשֵֽׁם־shem-H8034of the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430in vainלַשָּׁ֑וְאla.Shav'H7723,forכִּ֣יkiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068אֵ֛ת'etH853will notלֹ֤אlo'H3808leave anyone unpunishedיְנַקֶּה֙ye.na.KehH5352whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834takesיִשָּׂ֥אyi.Sa'H5375His nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034אֶת־'et-H853in vainלַשָּֽׁוְא׃ סla.Shav'H7723.
