6Onעַל־'al-H5921the testimonyפִּ֣י׀piH6310of twoשְׁנַ֣יִםshe.Na.yimH8147orא֛וֹ'oH176threeשְׁלֹשָׁ֥הshe.lo.ShahH7969witnessesעֵדִ֗ים'e.DimH5707a man shall be put to deathH4191,but he shall notלֹ֣אlo'H3808be executedH4191onעַל־'al-H5921the testimonyעֵדִ֖ים פִּ֖י'e.Dim piH6310 H5707of a loneאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259witnessעֵ֥ד'edH5707.

7The handsיַ֣דyadH3027of the witnessesהָעֵדִ֞יםha.'e.DimH5707shall beתִּֽהְיֶה־tih.yeh-H1961the firstבָרִאשֹׁנָה֙va.ri.sho.NahH7223in putting him to deathלַהֲמִית֔וֹla.ha.mi.ToH4191,and after thatבָּאַחֲרֹנָ֑הba.'a.cha.ro.NahH314,the handsוְיַ֥דve.YadH3027of allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971.So you must purgeוּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥u.vi.'ar.TaH1197the evilהָרָ֖עha.Ra'H7451from among youמִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ פmi.kir.Be.chaH7130.

8Ifכִּ֣יkiH3588a caseדָבָ֜רda.VarH1697is too difficultיִפָּלֵא֩yi.pa.Le'H6381for youמִמְּךָ֨mi.me.KhaH4480to judgeלַמִּשְׁפָּ֗טla.mish.PatH4941,whetherדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697the controversyרִיבֹ֖תri.VotH7379within your gatesבִּשְׁעָרֶ֑יךָbish.'a.Rei.khaH8179is regardingבֵּֽין־bein-H996bloodshedבֵּֽין־bein-H1818 H996,lawsuitsוּבֵ֥יןu.VeinH1779 H996,or assaultsוְקַמְתָּ֣ve.kam.TaH5061 H6965,you must go upוְעָלִ֔יתָve.'a.Li.taH5927toאֶל־'el-H413the placeהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430will chooseיִבְחַ֛רyiv.CharH977.

9You are to goוּבָאתָ֗u.va.TaH935toאֶל־'el-H413the Leviticalהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881priestsהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548and toוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413the judgeהַשֹּׁפֵ֔טha.sho.FetH8199whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר יִהְיֶ֖ה'a.Sher yih.YehH834 H1961presides at thatהָהֵ֑םha.HemH1992timeבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117.Inquire of themוְדָרַשְׁתָּ֙ve.da.rash.TaH1875,and they will giveוְהִגִּ֣ידוּve.hi.Gi.duH5046youאֵ֖ת'etH853a verdictדְּבַ֥רde.VarH1697in the caseH4639.
