1During Jehoiakim’s reignבְּיָמָ֣יוbe.ya.MavH3117,Nebuchadnezzarנְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֖רne.vu.khad.ne.TzarH5019kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֑לba.VelH894invadedעָלָ֔ה'a.LahH5927.So Jehoiakimיְהוֹיָקִ֥יםye.ho.ya.KimH3079becameוַיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961hisvassalעֶ֙בֶד֙'e.vedH5650for threeשָׁלֹ֣שׁsha.LoshH7969yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141,until he turnedוַיָּ֖שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725and rebelledוַיִּמְרָד־vai.yim.rod-H4775against Nebuchadnezzar.

4and also forוְגַ֤םve.GamH1571the innocentהַנָּקִי֙ha.na.KiH5355אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834bloodדַּֽם־dam-H1818he had shedשָׁפָ֔ךְsha.FakhH8210.For he had filledוַיְמַלֵּ֥אvay.ma.Le'H4390אֶת־'et-H853Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389with innocentנָקִ֑יna.KiH5355bloodדָּ֣םdamH1818,and the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068was unwillingאָבָ֥ה'a.VahH14וְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808to forgiveלִסְלֹֽחַ׃lis.Lo.achH5545.
