James 1:23-27
23For if any oneG5100 isG1510 a hearerG202 of the wordG3056 and not a doerG4163, he isG1510 like unto a manG435 beholding his natural faceG4383 in a mirror: 24for he beholdeth himself, and goeth awayG565, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he wasG1510. 25But he that looketh into the perfectG5046 lawG3551, the lawG3551 of liberty, and so continueth, beingG1510 not a hearerG202 that forgetteth but a doerG4163 that worketh, this manG3778 shall beG1510 blessed in his doing. 26If any manG3778 thinketh himself to beG1510 religious, while he bridleth not his tongueG1100 but deceiveth his heartG2588, this man’s religionG2356 isG1510 vain. 27PureG2513 religionG2356 and undefiledG283 before our GodG2316 and FatherG3962 isG1510 this, to visitG1980 the fatherless and widowsG5503 in their afflictionG2347, and to keepG5083 oneself unspotted from the worldG2889.
