Hebrews 6:13-19
13For when GodG2316 made promiseG1861 to AbrahamG11, since he could swearG3660 by noneG3762 greaterG3173, he sware by himself, 14sayingG3004, Surely blessingG2127 I will blessG2127 thee, and multiplyingG4129 I will multiplyG4129 thee. 15And thusG3779, having patiently endured, he obtainedG2013 the promiseG1860. 16For menG444 swearG3660 by the greaterG3173: and in every dispute of theirs the oathG3727 is final for confirmationG951. 17Wherein GodG2316, being minded to showG1925 more abundantly unto the heirsG2818 of the promiseG1860 the immutability of his counselG1012, interposed with an oathG3727; 18that by twoG1417 immutable thingsG3739, in which it is impossibleG102 for GodG2316 to lieG5574, we may have a strongG2478 encouragementG3874, who have fled for refuge to lay holdG2902 of the hopeG1680 setG4295 before us: 19which we have as an anchorG45 of the soulG5590, a hope both sure and stedfast and enteringG1525 into that which is within the veilG2665;
