1 Kings 15:16-22
16And there wasH1961 warH4421 between AsaH609 and BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 all their daysH3117. 17And BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 wentH3318 up against JudahH3063, and builtH1129 RamahH7414, that he might not suffer any one to goH3318 out or comeH935 in to AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063. 18Then AsaH609 tookH3947 all the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 that were leftH3498 in the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of Jehovah, and the treasuresH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and delivered them into the handH3027 of his servantsH5650; and kingH4428 AsaH609 sentH7971 them to Ben-hadadH1130, the sonH1121 of Tabrimmon, the sonH1121 of Hezion, kingH4428 of Syria, that dweltH3427 at DamascusH1834, sayingH559, 19There is a league between me and thee, between my fatherH1 and thy fatherH1: behold, I have sentH7971 unto thee a present of silverH3701 and goldH2091; goH5927, breakH6565 thy league with BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, that he may depart from me. 20And Ben-hadadH1130 hearkened unto kingH4428 AsaH609, and sentH7971 the captains of his armiesH2428 against the citiesH5892 of IsraelH3478, and smote IjonH5859, and DanH1835, and Abel-beth-maacahH62, and all Chinneroth, with all the landH776 of NaphtaliH5321. 21And it came to pass, when BaashaH1201 heardH8085 thereof, that he left off buildingH1129 RamahH7414, and dweltH3427 in TirzahH8656. 22Then kingH4428 AsaH609 made a proclamation unto all JudahH3063; none was exempted: and they carriedH5375 awayH5375 the stonesH68 of RamahH7414, and the timber thereof, wherewith BaashaH1201 had builded; and kingH4428 AsaH609 builtH1129 therewith GebaH1387 of BenjaminH1144, and MizpahH4709.
