1 Kings 14:10-18
10thereforeH3651, behold, I will bringH935 evilH7451 upon the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379, and will cutH3772 off from JeroboamH3379 every man-child, him that is shutH6113 up and him that is leftH5800 at large in IsraelH3478, and will utterly sweep away the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379, as a man sweepeth away dung, till it be all goneH935. 11Him that dieth of JeroboamH3379 in the cityH5892 shall the dogsH3611 eatH398; and him that dieth in the fieldH7704 shall the birdsH5775 of the heavensH8064 eatH398: for Jehovah hath spokenH1696 it. 12AriseH6965 thou therefore, get thee to thy houseH1004: and when thy feetH7272 enter into the cityH5892, the childH3206 shall dieH4191. 13And all IsraelH3478 shall mournH5594 for him, and buryH6912 him; for he onlyH905 of JeroboamH3379 shall comeH935 to the graveH6913, because in him there is foundH4672 some goodH2896 thingH1697 toward Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, in the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379. 14Moreover Jehovah will raiseH6965 him up a kingH4428 over IsraelH3478, who shall cutH3772 off the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 that dayH3117: but what? even nowH6258. 15For Jehovah will smite IsraelH3478, as a reedH7070 is shaken in the waterH4325; and he will root up IsraelH3478 out of this goodH2896 landH127 which he gaveH5414 to their fathersH1, and will scatterH2219 them beyond the RiverH5104, because they have madeH6213 their Asherim, provokingH3707 Jehovah to angerH3707. 16And he will giveH5414 IsraelH3478 up because of the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379, which he hath sinnedH2398, and wherewith he hath madeH5414 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398.
17And Jeroboam’s wifeH802 aroseH6965, and departed, and cameH935 to TirzahH8656: andas she cameH935 to the threshold of the houseH1004, the child diedH4191. 18And all IsraelH3478 buriedH6912 him, and mournedH5594 for him, according to the wordH1697 of Jehovah, which he spake by his servantH5650 AhijahH281 the prophetH5030.
