10And it grewgreatוַתִּגְדַּ֖לva.tig.DalH1431, even to thehostצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635ofheavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064; and it castdownוַתַּפֵּ֥לva.ta.PelH5307some of thehostהַצָּבָ֥אha.tza.Va'H6635and of thestarsהַכּוֹכָבִ֖יםha.ko.kha.VimH3556to thegroundאַ֛רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776, andstampedוַֽתִּרְמְסֵֽם׃Va.tir.me.SemH7429upon them.

11Yea, hemagnifiedהִגְדִּ֑ילhig.DilH1431himself even to theprinceשַֽׂר־sar-H8269of thehostהַצָּבָ֖אha.tza.Va'H6635, and by him thedailyהַתָּמִ֔ידha.ta.MidH8548sacrifice was takenawayהוּרַ֣םhe.rimH7311, and theplaceמְכ֥וֹןme.KhonH4349of hissanctuaryמִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ׃mik.da.ShoH4720was castdownוְהֻשְׁלַ֖ךְve.hush.LakhH7993.

12And anhostוְצָבָ֛אve.tza.Va'H6635wasgivenתִּנָּתֵ֥ןti.na.TenH5414him against thedailyהַתָּמִ֖ידha.ta.MidH8548sacrifice by reason oftransgressionבְּפָ֑שַׁעbe.Fa.sha'H6588, and it castdownוְתַשְׁלֵ֤ךְve.tash.LekhH7993thetruthאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571to thegroundאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776; and itcontinuedוְעָשְׂתָ֖הve.'a.se.TahH6213, andprosperedוְהִצְלִֽיחָה׃ve.hitz.Li.chahH6743.

15And it came to pass, when I, even IDanielדָנִיֵּ֖אלda.ni.YelH1840, hadseenבִּרְאֹתִ֛יbir.'o.TiH7200thevisionהֶחָז֑וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377, andsoughtוָאֲבַקְשָׁ֣הva.'a.vak.ShahH1245for themeaningבִינָ֔הvi.NahH998, then, behold, therestoodעֹמֵ֥ד'o.MedH5975before me one having theappearanceכְּמַרְאֵה־ke.mar.'eh-H4758of amanגָֽבֶר׃Ga.verH1397.

16And Iheardוָאֶשְׁמַ֥עva.'esh.Ma'H8085aman’sאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120voiceקוֹל־kol-H6963between the banks ofUlaiאוּלָ֑י'u.LaiH195, whichcalledוַיִּקְרָא֙vai.yik.Ra'H7121, andsaidוַיֹּאמַ֔רvai.yo.MarH559,Gabrielגַּבְרִיאֵ֕לgav.ri.'ElH1403, makethisלְהַלָּ֖זle.ha.LazH1975man tounderstandהָבֵ֥ןha.VenH995thevisionהַמַּרְאֶֽה׃ha.mar.'EhH4758.

17So hecameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935nearאֵ֣צֶל'E.tzelH681where Istoodעָמְדִ֔י'a.me.DiH5977: and when hecameוּבְבֹא֣וֹu.ve.vo.'OH935, I wasafraidנִבְעַ֔תִּיniv.'A.tiH1204, andfellוָאֶפְּלָ֖הva.'e.pe.LahH5307upon myfaceפָּנָ֑יpa.NaiH6440: but hesaidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me,Understandהָבֵ֣ןha.VenH995, Osonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120: for at thetimeלְעֶת־le.'et-H6256of theendקֵ֥ץketzH7093shall be thevisionהֶחָזֽוֹן׃he.cha.ZonH2377.

18Now as he wasspeakingוּבְדַבְּר֣וֹu.ve.da.be.RoH1696with me, I was in a deepsleepנִרְדַּ֥מְתִּיnir.Dam.tiH7290on myfaceפָּנַ֖יpa.NaiH6440toward thegroundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776: but hetouchedוַיִּ֨גַּע־vai.Yi.ga'-H5060me, andsetוַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֖נִיvai.ya.'a.mi.De.niH5975meuprightעָמְדִֽי׃'a.me.DiH5977.
