10It grewוַתִּגְדַּ֖לva.tig.DalH1431up to the hostצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and caused someמִן־min-H4480of the hostהַצָּבָ֥אha.tza.Va'H6635and someוּמִן־u.min-H4480of thestarsהַכּוֹכָבִ֖יםha.ko.kha.VimH3556to fallוַתַּפֵּ֥לva.ta.PelH5307to the earthאַ֛רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776, and ittrampledH7429them downH7429.

11It evenH5704magnifiedהִגְדִּ֑ילhig.DilH1431itselfto be equalH5704with theCommanderשַֽׂר־sar-H8269of the hostהַצָּבָ֖אha.tza.Va'H6635;and it removedהוּרַ֣םhe.rimH7311theregularH8548sacrificeH8548from Him, and the placeמְכ֥וֹןme.KhonH4349of His sanctuaryמִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ׃mik.da.ShoH4720was thrownH7993downוְהֻשְׁלַ֖ךְve.hush.LakhH7993.

12And on account of transgressionבְּפָ֑שַׁעbe.Fa.sha'H6588the hostוְצָבָ֛אve.tza.Va'H6635will be givenתִּנָּתֵ֥ןti.na.TenH5414over to the hornalongעַל־'al-H5921with the regularH8548sacrificeH8548; and it willflingוְתַשְׁלֵ֤ךְve.tash.LekhH7993truthאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571to the groundאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776and performוְעָשְׂתָ֖הve.'a.se.TahH6213its willand prosperוְהִצְלִֽיחָה׃ve.hitz.Li.chahH6743.

13Then I heardוָאֶשְׁמְעָ֥הva.'esh.me.'AhH8085aholyקָד֖וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918oneקָד֜וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918speakingמְדַבֵּ֑רme.da.BerH1696,and anotherH259holyH6918oneH6918saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559to that particularH6423oneH6423who was speakingהַֽמְדַבֵּ֗רham.da.BerH1696, “HowH4970longעַד־'ad-H5704 H4970will the visionהֶחָז֤וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377aboutthe regularH8548sacrificeH8548apply,while the transgressionוְהַפֶּ֣שַׁעve.ha.Pe.sha'H6588causesH8074horrorH8074,so as to allowתֵּ֛תtetH5414both the holyוְקֹ֥דֶשׁve.Ko.deshH6944place and the hostוְצָבָ֖אve.tza.Va'H6635to betrampledמִרְמָֽס׃mir.MasH4823?”

14He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “For2,300אַלְפַּ֖יִם וּשְׁלֹ֣שׁ מֵא֑וֹת'al.Pa.yim u.she.Losh me.'otH505 H7969 H3967eveningsעֶ֣רֶב'E.revH6153andmorningsבֹּ֔קֶרBo.kerH1242;then the holyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944place will beproperlyH6663restoredH6663.”

15WhenI, Danielדָנִיֵּ֖אלda.ni.YelH1840,had seenבִּרְאֹתִ֛יbir.'o.TiH7200the visionהֶחָז֑וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377,I soughtוָאֲבַקְשָׁ֣הva.'a.vak.ShahH1245to understandבִינָ֔הvi.NahH998it; and beholdוְהִנֵּ֛הve.hi.NehH2009,standingעֹמֵ֥ד'o.MedH5975beforeלְנֶגְדִּ֖יle.neg.DiH5048me was onewhoH4758lookedH4758like amanגָֽבֶר׃Ga.verH1397.

16And I heardוָאֶשְׁמַ֥עva.'esh.Ma'H8085the voiceקוֹל־kol-H6963of a manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996the banks ofUlaiאוּלָ֑י'u.LaiH195,and he calledוַיִּקְרָא֙vai.yik.Ra'H7121out and saidוַיֹּאמַ֔רvai.yo.MarH559, “Gabrielגַּבְרִיאֵ֕לgav.ri.'ElH1403,giveH995thisלְהַלָּ֖זle.ha.LazH1975manan understandingH995of the visionהַמַּרְאֶֽה׃ha.mar.'EhH4758.”

17So he cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935nearאֵ֣צֶל'E.tzelH681to whereH5977I was standingעָמְדִ֔י'a.me.DiH5977,and when he cameוּבְבֹא֣וֹu.ve.vo.'OH935I was frightenedנִבְעַ֔תִּיniv.'A.tiH1204andfellוָאֶפְּלָ֖הva.'e.pe.LahH5307on my faceפָּנָ֑יpa.NaiH6440;but he saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120,understandהָבֵ֣ןha.VenH995that the visionהֶחָזֽוֹן׃he.cha.ZonH2377pertains to thetimeלְעֶת־le.'et-H6256of the endקֵ֥ץketzH7093.”

18Now while he was talkingוּבְדַבְּר֣וֹu.ve.da.be.RoH1696with me, IsankH7290into a deepH7290sleepH7290with my faceפָּנַ֖יpa.NaiH6440to the groundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776; but hetouchedוַיִּ֨גַּע־vai.Yi.ga'-H5060me and made me standוַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֖נִיvai.ya.'a.mi.De.niH5975uprightעָמְדִֽי׃'a.me.DiH5921 H5977.

19He saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “BeholdH2009, I am going tolet you knowמוֹדִֽיעֲךָ֔mo.di.'a.KhaH3045whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834will occurיִהְיֶ֖הyih.YehH1961at the finalH319periodH319of the indignationהַזָּ֑עַםha.Za.'amH2195, for itpertains to the appointedלְמוֹעֵ֥דle.mo.'EdH4150timeH4150of the endקֵֽץ׃KetzH7093.

20Theramהָאַ֥יִלha.'A.yilH352whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you sawרָאִ֖יתָra.'I.taH7200with the two hornsהַקְּרָנָ֑יִםha.ke.ra.Na.yimH7161represents the kingsמַלְכֵ֖יmal.KheiH4428of Mediaמָדַ֥יma.DaiH4074and Persiaוּפָרָֽס׃u.fa.RasH6539.

21The shaggyהַשָּׂעִ֖ירha.sa.'IrH8163goatH5795represents thekingdomמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Greeceיָוָ֑ןya.VanH3120,and the largeהַגְּדוֹלָה֙ha.ge.do.LahH1419hornוְהַקֶּ֤רֶןve.ha.Ke.renH7161that is betweenבֵּין־bein-H996his eyesעֵינָ֔יו'ei.NavH5869is the firstהָרִאשֽׁוֹן׃ha.ri.ShonH7223kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428.

22Thebrokenוְהַ֨נִּשְׁבֶּ֔רֶתve.Ha.nish.Be.retH7665hornand the fourאַרְבַּ֖ע'ar.Ba'H702horns thataroseוַתַּֽעֲמֹ֥דְנָהva.ta.'a.Mo.de.nahH5975in its placeתַּחְתֶּ֑יהָtach.Tei.haH8478representfourאַרְבַּ֧ע'ar.Ba'H702kingdomsמַלְכֻי֛וֹתmal.khu.YotH4438whichwill ariseיַעֲמֹ֖דְנָהya.'a.Mo.de.nahH5975from hisnationמִגּ֥וֹיmi.GoyH1471,although not with his powerבְכֹחֽוֹ׃ve.kho.ChoH3581.

23In the latterH319periodH319of theirruleמַלְכוּתָ֔םmal.khu.TamH4438,When the transgressorsהַפֹּשְׁעִ֑יםha.posh.'ImH6586haverunכְּהָתֵ֖םke.ha.TemH8552their course,A kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428will ariseיַעֲמֹ֛דya.'a.ModH5975,Insolentעַז־ פָּנִ֖ים'az- pa.NimH5794 H6440and skilledוּמֵבִ֥יןu.me.VinH995inintrigueחִידֽוֹת׃chi.DotH2420.

24His powerכֹּחוֹ֙ko.ChoH3581will be mightyוְעָצַ֤םve.'a.TzamH6105, but not by his ownpowerבְכֹח֔וֹve.kho.ChoH3581, And he willdestroyיַשְׁחִ֖יתyash.ChitH7843to an extraordinaryH6381degreeH6381And prosperוְהִצְלִ֣יחַve.hitz.Li.achH6743and performוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213his will; He willdestroyוְהִשְׁחִ֥יתve.hish.ChitH7843mightyעֲצוּמִ֖ים'a.tzu.MimH6099menH6099andthe holyקְדֹשִֽׁים׃ke.do.ShimH6918peopleוְעַם־ve.'am-H5971.

25And throughH5921his shrewdnessשִׂכְל֗וֹsikh.LoH7922He will cause deceitמִרְמָה֙mir.MahH4820to succeedוְהִצְלִ֤יחַve.hitz.Li.achH6743by hisinfluenceH3027;And he will magnifyיַגְדִּ֔ילyag.DilH1431himselfin his heartוּבִלְבָב֣וֹu.vil.va.VoH3824, And he willdestroyיַשְׁחִ֣יתyash.ChitH7843manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227while they areat easeוּבְשַׁלְוָ֖הuv.shal.VahH7962. He will evenopposeיַעֲמֹ֔דya.'a.ModH5975the Princeשַׂר־sar-H8269of princesשָׂרִים֙sa.RimH8269,But he will be brokenיִשָּׁבֵֽר׃yi.sha.VerH7665withoutוּבְאֶ֥פֶסu.ve.'E.fesH657humanH3027agencyH3027.

26The visionוּמַרְאֵ֨הu.mar.'EhH4758of the eveningsהָעֶ֧רֶבha.'E.revH6153and morningsוְהַבֹּ֛קֶרve.ha.Bo.kerH1242Whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834has been toldנֶאֱמַ֖רne.'e.MarH559istrueאֱמֶ֣ת'e.MetH571; Butkeepסְתֹ֣םse.TomH5640the visionהֶֽחָז֔וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377secretH5640, For itpertains to manyרַבִּֽים׃ra.BimH7227daysלְיָמִ֥יםle.ya.MimH3117in the future.”
