11And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall be moved withangerוְיִתְמַרְמַר֙ve.yit.mar.MarH4843, and shall comeforthוְיָצָ֕אve.ya.Tza'H3318andfightוְנִלְחַ֥םve.nil.ChamH3898with him, even with thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֑וֹןha.tza.FonH6828: and he shall setforthוְהֶעֱמִיד֙ve.he.'e.MidH5975agreatרָ֔בRavH7227multitudeהָמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995; but themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall begivenוְנִתַּ֥ןve.ni.TanH5414into hishandבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027.
13For thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallreturnוְשָׁב֙ve.ShavH7725, and shall setforthוְהֶעֱמִ֣ידve.he.'e.MidH5975amultitudeהָמ֔וֹןha.MonH1995greaterרַ֖בravH7227than theformerהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223, and shallcertainlyיָ֣בוֹאYa.Vo'H935comeב֔וֹאVo'H935afterוּלְקֵ֨ץu.le.KetzH7093certainהָֽעִתִּ֤יםha.'i.TimH6256yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141with agreatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419armyבְּחַ֥יִלbe.Cha.yilH2428and withmuchרָֽב׃RavH7227richesוּבִרְכ֥וּשׁu.vir.KhushH7399.
14And in thosetimesוּבָעִתִּ֣יםu.va.'i.TimH6256there shallmanyרַבִּ֥יםra.BimH7227standupיַֽעַמְד֖וּya.'am.DuH5975against thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֑גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045: also therobbersוּבְנֵ֣י׀ פָּרִיצֵ֣יu.ve.Nei pa.ri.TzeiH1121H6530of thypeopleעַמְּךָ֗'a.me.KhaH5971shallexaltיִֽנַּשְּׂא֛וּyi.na.se.'UH5375themselves toestablishלְהַעֲמִ֥ידle.ha.'a.MidH5975thevisionחָז֖וֹןcha.ZonH2377; but they shallfallוְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ׃ve.nikh.Sha.luH3782.
15So thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallcomeוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935, and castupוְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ve.yish.poKhH8210abankסֽוֹלֲלָ֔הso.la.LahH5550, andtakeוְלָכַ֖דve.la.KhadH3920the mostfortifiedמִבְצָר֑וֹתmiv.tza.RotH4013citiesעִ֣יר'irH5892: and thearmsוּזְרֹע֤וֹתu.ze.ro.'otH2220of thesouthהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045shall notwithstandיַעֲמֹ֔דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975, neither hischosenמִבְחָרָ֔יוmiv.cha.RavH4005peopleוְעַם֙ve.'AmH5971, neither shall there be anystrengthכֹּ֖חַKo.achH3581towithstandלַעֲמֹֽד׃la.'a.ModH5975.
16But he thatcomethהַבָּ֤אha.Ba'H935against him shalldoוְיַ֨עַשׂve.Ya.'asH6213according to his ownwillכִּרְצוֹנ֔וֹkir.tzo.NoH7522, and none shallstandעוֹמֵ֖דo.MedH5975beforeלְפָנָ֑יוle.fa.NavH6440him: and he shallstandוְיַעֲמֹ֥דve.ya.'a.ModH5975in thegloriousהַצְּבִ֖יha.tze.ViH6643landבְּאֶֽרֶץ־be.'e.retz-H776, which by hishandבְיָדֽוֹ׃ve.ya.DoH3027shall beconsumedוְכָלָ֥הve.kha.LahH3617.
17He shall alsosetוְיָשֵׂ֣ם׀ve.ya.SemH7760hisfaceפָּ֠נָיוPa.navH6440toenterלָב֞וֹאla.Vo'H935with thestrengthבְּתֹ֧קֶףbe.To.kefH8633of his wholekingdomמַלְכוּת֛וֹmal.khu.ToH4438, and uprightonesוִישָׁרִ֥יםvi.sha.RimH3477with him; thus shall hedoוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213: and he shallgiveיִתֶּן־yi.ten-H5414him thedaughterוּבַ֤תu.VatH1323ofwomenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802,corruptingלְהַשְׁחִיתָ֔הּle.hash.chi.TahH7843her: but she shall notstandתַעֲמֹ֖דta.'a.ModH5975on his side, neither be for him.
18After this shall heturnוְיָשֵׂ֧ם יָשִׁ֥יבve.ya.sev ya.ShivH7760H7725hisfaceפָּנָ֛יוpa.NavH6440to theislesלְאִיִּ֖יםle.'i.YimH339, and shalltakeוְלָכַ֣דve.la.KhadH3920manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227: but aprinceקָצִ֤יןka.TzinH7101for his own behalf shall cause thereproachחֶרְפָּתוֹ֙cher.pa.ToH2781offered by him toceaseוְהִשְׁבִּ֨יתve.hish.BitH7673;withoutבִּלְתִּ֥יbil.TiH1115his ownreproachחֶרְפָּת֖וֹcher.pa.ToH2781he shall cause it toturnH7725upon him.
20Then shall standupוְעָמַ֧דve.'a.MadH5975in hisestateכַּנּ֛וֹka.NoH3653araiserמַעֲבִ֥ירma.'a.VirH5674oftaxesנוֹגֵ֖שׂno.GesH5065in thegloryהֶ֣דֶרHe.derH1925of thekingdomמַלְכ֑וּתmal.KhutH4438: but withinfewאֲחָדִים֙'a.cha.DimH259daysוּבְיָמִ֤יםuv.ya.MimH3117he shall bedestroyedיִשָּׁבֵ֔רyi.sha.VerH7665, neither inangerבְאַפַּ֖יִםve.'a.Pa.yimH639, nor inbattleבְמִלְחָמָֽה׃ve.mil.cha.MahH4421.
21And in hisestateכַּנּוֹ֙ka.NoH3653shall standupוְעָמַ֤דve.'a.MadH5975a vilepersonנִבְזֶ֔הniv.ZehH959, to whom they shall notgiveנָתְנ֥וּna.te.NuH5414thehonourה֣וֹדHodH1935of thekingdomמַלְכ֑וּתmal.KhutH4438: but he shallcomeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935inpeaceablyבְשַׁלְוָ֔הve.shal.VahH7962, andobtainוְהֶחֱזִ֥יקve.he.che.ZikH2388thekingdomמַלְכ֖וּתmal.KhutH4438byflatteriesבַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ba.cha.lak.la.KotH2519.
22And with thearmsוּזְרֹע֥וֹתu.ze.ro.'otH2220of afloodהַשֶּׁ֛טֶףha.She.tefH7858shall they beoverflowedיִשָּׁטְפ֥וּyi.sha.te.FuH7857frombeforeמִלְּפָנָ֖יוmi.le.fa.NavH6440him, and shall bebrokenוְיִשָּׁבֵ֑רוּve.yi.sha.Ve.ruH7665; yea, also theprinceנְגִ֥ידne.GidH5057of thecovenantבְּרִֽית׃be.RitH1285.
24He shallenterיָבוֹא֒ya.Vo'H935peaceablyבְּשַׁלְוָ֞הbe.shal.VahH7962even upon the bestplacesוּבְמִשְׁמַנֵּ֣יuv.mish.ma.NeiH4924of theprovinceמְדִינָה֮me.di.NahH4082; and he shalldoוְעָשָׂ֗הve.'a.SahH6213that which hisfathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1have notdoneעָשׂ֤וּ'a.SuH6213, nor hisfathersוַאֲב֣וֹתva.'a.VotH1’fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1; he shallscatterיִבְז֑וֹרyiv.ZorH967among them thepreyבִּזָּ֧הbi.ZahH961, andspoilוְשָׁלָ֛לve.sha.LalH7998, andrichesוּרְכ֖וּשׁu.re.KhushH7399: yea, and he shallplotיְחַשֵּׁ֥ב מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖יוye.cha.Shev mach.she.vo.TavH2803H4284against the strongholdsמִבְצָרִ֛יםmiv.tza.RimH4013, even for atimeעֵֽת׃'EtH6256.

27Andbothוּשְׁנֵיהֶ֤םu.she.nei.HemH8147thesekingsהַמְּלָכִים֙ha.me.la.KhimH4428’heartsלְבָבָ֣םle.va.VamH3824shall be to domischiefלְמֵרָ֔עle.me.Ra'H4827H7451, and they shallspeakיְדַבֵּ֑רוּye.da.Be.ruH1696liesכָּזָ֣בka.ZavH3577atoneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259tableשֻׁלְחָ֥ןshul.ChanH7979; but it shall notprosperתִצְלָ֔חtitz.LachH6743: for yet theendקֵ֖ץketzH7093shall be at the timeappointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.

30For theshipsצִיִּ֤יםtzi.YimH6716ofChittimכִּתִּים֙ki.TimH3794shallcomeוּבָ֨אוּu.Va.'uH935against him: therefore he shall begrievedוְנִכְאָ֔הve.nikh.'AhH3512, andreturnוְשָׁ֛בve.ShavH7725, and haveindignationוְזָעַ֥םve.za.'AmH2194against theholyק֖וֹדֶשׁKo.deshH6944covenantבְּרִֽית־be.rit-H1285: so shall hedoוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213; he shall evenreturnוְשָׁ֣בve.ShavH7725, and haveintelligenceוְיָבֵ֔ןve.ya.VenH995with them thatforsakeעֹזְבֵ֖י'o.ze.VeiH5800theholyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285.
31Andforcesוּזְרֹעִ֖יםu.ze.ro.'ImH2220shallstandיַעֲמֹ֑דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975on his part, and they shallpolluteוְחִלְּל֞וּve.chi.le.LuH2490thesanctuaryהַמִּקְדָּ֤שׁha.mik.DashH4720ofstrengthהַמָּעוֹז֙ha.ma.'OzH4581, and shall takeawayוְהֵסִ֣ירוּve.he.Si.ruH5493thedailyהַתָּמִ֔ידha.ta.MidH8548sacrifice, and they shallplaceוְנָתְנ֖וּve.na.te.NuH5414theabominationהַשִּׁקּ֥וּץha.shi.KutzH8251that makethdesolateמְשׁוֹמֵֽם׃me.sho.MemH8074.
32And such as dowickedlyוּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣יu.mar.shi.'EiH7561against thecovenantבְרִ֔יתve.RitH1285shall hecorruptיַחֲנִ֖יףya.cha.NifH2610byflatteriesבַּחֲלַקּ֑וֹתba.cha.la.KotH2514: but thepeopleוְעַ֛םve.'AmH5971thatknowיֹדְעֵ֥יyo.de.'EiH3045theirGodאֱלֹהָ֖יו'e.lo.HavH430shall bestrongיַחֲזִ֥קוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388, anddoוְעָשֽׂוּ׃ve.'a.SuH6213exploits .

35And some of them ofunderstandingהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919shallfallיִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּyi.ka.she.LuH3782, totryלִצְר֥וֹףlitz.RofH6884them, and topurgeוּלְבָרֵ֥רu.le.va.RerH1305, and to make themwhiteוְלַלְבֵּ֖ןve.lal.BenH3835, even to thetimeעֵ֣ת'etH6256of theendקֵ֑ץKetzH7093: because it is yet for a timeappointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.
