8AndElijahאֵלִיָּ֨הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452tookוַיִּקַּח֩vai.yi.KachH3947hismantleאַדַּרְתּ֤וֹ'a.dar.ToH155, and wrapped ittogetherוַיִּגְלֹם֙vai.yig.LomH1563, andsmoteוַיַּכֶּ֣הvai.ya.KehH5221thewatersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325, and they weredividedוַיֵּחָצ֖וּvai.ye.cha.TzuH2673to the one side and to the other, so that theytwoשְׁנֵיהֶ֖םshe.nei.HemH8147wentoverוַיַּעַבְר֥וּvai.ya.'av.RuH5674ondryבֶּחָרָבָֽה׃be.cha.ra.VahH2724ground.

9And it came to pass, when they had goneoverכְעָבְרָ֗םkhe.'a.ve.RamH5674, thatElijahוְאֵ֨לִיָּ֜הוּve.'E.li.Ya.huH452saidאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559toElishaאֱלִישָׁע֙'e.li.Sha'H477,Askשְׁאַל֙she.'AlH7592what I shalldoאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213for thee, before I am takenawayאֶלָּקַ֣ח'e.la.KachH3947from thee. 10And hesaidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Thou hastaskedלִשְׁא֑וֹלlish.'olH7592a hardthingהִקְשִׁ֣יתָhik.Shi.taH7185: nevertheless, if thou shaltseeתִּרְאֶ֨הtir.'EhH7200me when I amtakenלֻקָּ֤חlu.KachH3947from thee, it shall be so to thee; but if not, it shall not be so .
