28And theycriedוַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙vai.yik.re.'UH7121aloudבְּק֣וֹל גָּד֔וֹלbe.Kol ga.DolH6963 H1419, andcutוַיִּתְגֹּֽדְדוּ֙vai.yit.go.de.DuH1413themselves after theirmannerכְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔םke.mish.pa.TamH4941withknivesבַּחֲרָב֖וֹתba.cha.ra.VotH2719andlancetsוּבָֽרְמָחִ֑יםu.va.re.ma.ChimH7420, till thebloodדָּ֖םdamH1818gushedoutשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210upon them.

29And it came to pass, whenmiddayהַֽצָּהֳרַ֔יִםha.tzo.ho.Ra.yimH6672waspastכַּעֲבֹ֣רka.'a.VorH5674, and theyprophesiedוַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֔וּvai.yit.na.be.'UH5012until the time of theofferingלַעֲל֣וֹתla.'a.LotH5927of the eveningsacrificeהַמִּנְחָ֑הha.min.ChahH4503, that there was neithervoiceק֥וֹלKolH6963, nor any toanswerעֹנֶ֖ה'o.NehH6030, nor any thatregardedקָֽשֶׁב׃Ka.shevH7182.

30AndElijahאֵלִיָּ֤הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to all thepeopleהָעָם֙ha.'AmH5971, Comenearגְּשׁ֣וּge.ShuH5066to me. And all thepeopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971camenearוַיִּגְּשׁ֥וּvai.yi.ge.ShuH5066to him.
