Genesis 24:2-28

And AbrahamH85 saidH559 unto his servantH5650, the elderH2205 of his houseH1004, that ruledH4910 over allH3605 that he had, PutH7760, I prayH4994 thee, thy handH3027 underH8478 my thighH3409:

and I will makeH3947 thee swearH7650 by the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of heavenH8064 and the GodH430 of the earthH776, that thou shalt notH3808 takeH3947 a wifeH802 for my sonH1121 of the daughtersH1323 of the CanaanitesH3669, among whomH834 I dwellH3427:

but thou shalt go unto my countryH776, and to my kindredH4138, and takeH3947 a wifeH802 for my sonH1121 IsaacH3327.

And the servantH5650 saidH559 unto him, Peradventure the womanH802 will notH3808 be willingH14 to followH310 meH413 unto this landH776: mustH853 I needs bringH3318 thy sonH1121 againH7725 unto the landH776 from whence thou camest?

And AbrahamH85 saidH559 unto him, BewareH8104 thou that thou bringH7725 notH6435 my sonH1121 thither againH7725.

The LORDH3068, the GodH430 of heavenH8064, that tookH3947 meH5414 from my father’sH1 houseH1004, and from the landH776 of my nativity, and that spake unto meH5414, and that sware unto meH5414, sayingH559, Unto thy seedH2233 will I giveH5414 this landH776; he shall sendH7971 his angelH4397 beforeH6440 thee, and thou shalt takeH3947 a wifeH802 for my sonH1121 from thence.

And ifH518 the womanH802 be notH3808 willingH14 to followH310 thee, then thou shalt be clearH5352 from this my oathH7621; onlyH7535 thou shalt notH3808 bringH7725 my sonH1121 thither againH7725.

And the servantH5650 putH7760 his handH3027 underH8478 the thighH3409 of AbrahamH85 his masterH113, and sware to him concerning this matterH1697.

And the servantH5650 tookH3947 tenH6235 camelsH1581, of the camelsH1581 of his masterH113, and departed; havingH113 allH3605 goodly things of his master’sH113 in his handH3027: and he aroseH6965, and wentH6965 to MesopotamiaH763, unto the cityH5892 of NahorH5152.

And he made the camelsH1581 to kneelH1288 downH1288 without the cityH5892 by the wellH875 of waterH4325 at the time of eveningH6153, the time that women goH3318 outH3318 to drawH7579 waterH4325.

And he saidH559, O LORDH3068, the GodH430 of my masterH113 AbrahamH85, send meH4994, I prayH4994 thee, good speed this dayH3117, and shew kindnessH2617 unto my masterH113 AbrahamH85.

BeholdH2009, I standH5324 by the fountain of waterH4325; and the daughtersH1323 of the menH376 of the cityH5892 comeH3318 outH3318 to drawH7579 waterH4325:

and letH4994 it comeH1961 to passH1961, that the damsel to whomH834 I shall sayH559, LetH4994 downH5186 thy pitcherH3537, I prayH4994 thee, that I may drinkH8354; and sheH834 shall sayH559, DrinkH8354, and I will giveH8248 thy camelsH1581 drinkH8354 also: letH4994 the sameH853 be sheH834 that thou hast appointedH3198 for thy servantH5650 IsaacH3327; and thereby shall I knowH3045 that thou hast shewed kindnessH2617 unto my masterH113.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961, beforeH2962 he had doneH1961 speakingH1696, that, beholdH2009, RebekahH7259 cameH1961 outH3318, who was bornH3205 to BethuelH1328 the sonH1121 of MilcahH4435, the wifeH802 of NahorH5152, Abraham’sH85 brotherH251, with herH5921 pitcherH3537 uponH5921 herH5921 shoulderH7926.

And the damsel was veryH3966 fair to lookH5869 uponH3381, a virginH1330, neitherH3808 had anyH376 manH376 knownH3045 herH4390: and sheH2896 wentH5927 downH3381 to the fountain, and filledH4390 herH4390 pitcherH3537, and cameH5927 upH5927.

And the servantH5650 ranH7323 to meetH7125 herH559, and saidH559, GiveH4994 meH4994 to drinkH1572, I prayH4994 thee, a littleH4592 waterH4325 of thy pitcherH3537.

And sheH8248 saidH559, DrinkH8354, my lordH113: and sheH8248 hasted, and letH3381 downH3381 herH5921 pitcherH3537 uponH5921 herH5921 handH3027, and gaveH559 him drinkH8354.

And when sheH518 had done givingH8248 him drinkH8354, sheH518 saidH559, I will drawH7579 for thy camelsH1581 also, untilH5704 they have done drinkingH8354.

And she hasted, and emptiedH6168 herH3605 pitcherH3537 intoH413 the troughH8268, and ranH7323 againH5750 unto the wellH875 to drawH7579, and drewH7579 for allH3605 his camelsH1581.

And the manH376 looked stedfastly on herH518; holding his peace, to knowH3045 whetherH518 the LORDH3068 had madeH3045 his journeyH1870 prosperousH6743 or notH3808.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961, as the camelsH1581 had doneH1961 drinkingH8354, that the manH376 tookH3947 a goldenH2091 ringH5141 of half a shekel weightH4948, and twoH8147 braceletsH6781 for herH3947 handsH3027 of tenH6235 shekelsH4948 weightH4948 of goldH2091;

and saidH559, WhoseH4310 daughterH1323 art thou? tellH5046 meH4994, I prayH4994 thee. Is there roomH1004 in thy father’sH1 houseH1004 for usH4994 to lodge in?

And sheH834 saidH559 unto him, I am the daughterH1323 of BethuelH1328 the sonH1121 of MilcahH4435, whichH834 sheH834 bare unto NahorH5152.

SheH5973 saidH559 moreoverH1571 unto him, We have bothH1571 strawH8401 and provender enoughH1571, and roomH4725 to lodge in.

And the manH376 bowedH7812 his head, and worshipped the LORDH3068.

And he saidH559, BlessedH1288 be the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of my masterH113 AbrahamH85, who hath notH3808 forsaken his mercyH3068 and his truthH571 towardH1870 my masterH113: as for meH5973, the LORDH3068 hath ledH5148 meH5973 in the wayH1870 to the houseH1004 of my master’sH113 brethrenH251.

And the damsel ranH7323, and toldH5046 herH5046 mother’sH517 houseH1004 according to theseH428 wordsH1697.
