Revised Version 1895
Ezekiel 9:2-7
2And beholdH2009, sixH8337 menH376 cameH935 from the wayH1870 of the upperH5945 gateH8179, whichH834 lieth towardH1870 the northH6828, everyH376 manH376 with his slaughter weaponH3627 in his handH3027; and one manH376 in the midstH8432 of them clothedH3847 in linenH906, with a writer’s inkhorn by his sideH6828. And they wentH935 in, and stoodH5975 besideH681 the brasen altarH4196.
3And the gloryH3519 of the GodH430 of IsraelH3478 was goneH5927 upH5927 from the cherubH3742, whereupon it was, to the thresholdH4670 of the houseH1004: and he calledH7121 to the manH376 clothedH3847 in linenH906, whichH834 had the writer’s inkhorn by his sideH4975.
4And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto him, GoH5674 throughH5674 the midstH8432 of the cityH5892, throughH5674 the midstH8432 of JerusalemH3389, and setH6213 a mark uponH5921 the foreheadsH4696 of the menH376 that sighH584 and that cry for allH3605 the abominationsH8441 that be doneH6213 in the midstH8432 thereof.
5And to the othersH428 he saidH559 in mine hearingH241, GoH5674 ye throughH5674 the cityH5892 afterH310 him, and smiteH5221: letH408 notH408 your eyeH5869 spareH2550, neitherH408 have ye pityH2347:
6slayH2026 utterlyH4889 the oldH2205 manH376, the youngH970 manH376 and the maiden, and littleH2945 childrenH2945 and womenH802: but comeH5066 notH408 nearH5066 anyH3605 manH376 uponH5921 whomH834 is the mark; and beginH2490 at my sanctuaryH4720. Then they beganH2490 at the ancient menH376 whichH834 were beforeH6440 the houseH1004.
7And he saidH559 unto them, DefileH2930 the houseH1004, and fillH4390 the courts with the slainH5221: goH3318 ye forthH3318. And they wentH3318 forthH3318, and smoteH5221 in the cityH5892.
