Ezekiel 44:10-31
10But the LevitesH3881 that wentH8582 farH7368 from meH5921, when IsraelH3478 wentH8582 astrayH8582, whichH834 wentH8582 astrayH8582 from meH5921 afterH310 their idolsH1544; they shall bearH5375 their iniquityH5771. 11Yet they shall be ministersH8334 in my sanctuaryH4720, havingH1961 oversightH6486 at the gatesH8179 of the houseH1004, and ministeringH8334 in the houseH1004: they shall slayH7819 the burntH5930 offering and the sacrificeH2077 for the peopleH5971, and they shall standH5975 beforeH6440 them to ministerH8334 unto them. 12BecauseH5921 they ministeredH8334 unto them beforeH6440 their idolsH1544, and becameH1961 a stumblingblock of iniquityH5771 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478; therefore have I liftedH5375 upH5375 mine handH3027 againstH5921 them, saith the LordH136 GODH136, and they shall bearH5375 their iniquityH5771. 13And they shall notH3808 comeH5066 nearH5066 unto meH413, to execute the office of priestH3547 unto meH413, norH3808 to comeH5066 nearH5066 to anyH3605 of my holyH6944 things, unto the things that are mostH6944 holyH6944: but they shall bearH5375 their shameH3639, and their abominationsH8441 whichH834 they have committedH6213. 14Yet will I makeH5414 them keepersH8104 of the chargeH4931 of the houseH1004, for allH3605 the serviceH5656 thereof, and for allH3605 that shall be doneH6213 therein. 15But the priestsH3548 the LevitesH3881, the sonsH1121 of ZadokH6659, that keptH8104 the chargeH4931 of my sanctuaryH4720 when the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 wentH8582 astrayH8582 from meH413, they shall comeH7126 nearH7126 to meH413 to ministerH8334 unto meH413; and they shall standH5975 beforeH6440 meH413 to offerH7126 unto meH413 the fatH2459 and the bloodH1818, saith the LordH136 GODH136: 16they shall enterH935 intoH413 my sanctuaryH4720, and they shall comeH935 nearH7126 to my tableH7979, to ministerH8334 unto meH413, and they shall keepH8104 my chargeH4931. 17And it shall be that when they enterH935 in at the gatesH8179 of the innerH6442 courtH2691, they shall be clothedH3847 with linenH6593 garmentsH899; and noH3808 woolH6785 shall comeH935 uponH5921 them, whiles they ministerH8334 in the gatesH8179 of the innerH6442 courtH2691, and withinH5921. 18They shall have linenH6593 tires uponH5921 their headsH7218, and shall have linenH6593 breechesH4370 uponH5921 their loinsH4975; they shall notH3808 girdH2296 themselvesH5921 with anyH1961 thing that causeth sweatH3154. 19And when they goH3318 forthH3318 intoH413 the outerH2435 courtH2691, evenH3808 intoH413 the outerH2435 courtH2691 to the peopleH5971, they shall putH3847 offH6584 their garmentsH899 whereinH834 they ministerH8334, and layH3318 them in the holyH6944 chambersH3957, and they shall putH3847 on otherH312 garmentsH899, that they sanctifyH6942 notH3808 the peopleH5971 with their garmentsH899. 20NeitherH3808 shall they shaveH1548 their headsH7218, norH3808 suffer their locksH6545 to growH7971 longH7971; they shall onlyH3697 poll their headsH7218. 21NeitherH3808 shall anyH3605 priestH3548 drinkH8354 wineH3196, when they enterH935 intoH413 the innerH6442 courtH2691. 22NeitherH3808 shall they takeH3947 for their wivesH802 a widowH490, norH3808 herH3947 that is putH3947 awayH3947: but they shall takeH3947 virginsH1330 of the seedH2233 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or a widowH490 that is the widowH490 of a priestH3548. 23And they shall teachH3384 my peopleH5971 the difference betweenH996 the holyH6944 and the commonH2455, and cause them to discernH3045 betweenH996 the uncleanH2931 and the cleanH2889. 24And in a controversyH7379 they shall standH5975 to judgeH8199; accordingH5921 to my judgmentsH4941 shall they judgeH8199 it: and they shall keepH8104 my lawsH8451 and my statutesH2708 in allH3605 my appointedH4150 feastsH4150; and they shall hallow my sabbathsH7676. 25And they shall comeH935 at noH3808 deadH4191 personH376 to defileH2930 themselves: but for fatherH1, or for motherH517, or for sonH1121, or for daughterH1323, for brotherH251, or for sisterH269 that hath had noH3808 husbandH376, they may defileH2930 themselves. 26And afterH310 he is cleansedH2893, they shall reckon unto him sevenH7651 daysH3117. 27And in the dayH3117 that he goeth intoH413 the sanctuaryH6944, intoH413 the innerH6442 courtH2691, to ministerH8334 in the sanctuaryH6944, he shall offerH7126 his sinH2403 offering, saith the LordH136 GODH136. 28And they shall have an inheritanceH5159; I am their inheritanceH5159: and ye shall giveH5414 them noH3808 possessionH272 in IsraelH3478; I am their possessionH272. 29They shall eatH398 the mealH4503 offering, and the sinH2403 offering, and the guiltH817 offering; and everyH3605 devotedH2764 thingH3605 in IsraelH3478 shall be theirsH1992. 30And the firstH7225 of allH3605 the firstfruits of everyH3605 thingH3605, and everyH3605 oblation of everyH3605 thingH3605, of allH3605 your oblations, shall be for the priestsH3548: ye shall also giveH5414 unto the priestH3548 the firstH7225 of your doughH6182, to causeH5414 a blessingH1293 to restH5117 on thine houseH1004. 31The priestsH3548 shall notH3808 eatH398 of anyH3605 thingH3605 that dieth of itself, or is tornH2966, whetherH4480 it be fowlH5775 or beastH929.
