Revised Version 1895
Ezekiel 21:9-14
9Son of manH7563, prophesy, and say, ThusH3651 saith the LORDH6662: Say, A swordH2719, a swordH2719, it is sharpened, and also furbished:
10it is sharpened that it may makeH3045 a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall weH3588 then makeH3045 mirth? the rod of my son, it contemneth everyH3605 tree.
11And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12Cry and howl, son of manH3605: for it is uponH5921 my peopleH3820, it is uponH5921 allH3605 the princes of Israel: they are deliveredH3027 over to the sword with my peopleH3820: smite therefore uponH5921 thy thigh.
13For there is a trial; and whatH1697 ifH1961 even the rod that contemneth shall be no more? saith the LordH3068 GODH3068.
14Thou therefore, sonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012, and smite thine hands togetherH1571; and let the swordH2719 be doubled the third time, the swordH2719 of the deadly wounded: it is the swordH2719 of the great one that is deadly wounded, whichH2719 entereth intoH2719 their chambers.
