Revised Version 1895
Ezekiel 21:18-27
The word of the LORDH136 cameH1961 unto meH1961 againH1961, saying,
Also, thou sonH1121 of manH120, appoint thee twoH5221 ways, that the swordH2719 of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth outH413 of one land: and mark outH413 a place, mark it outH413 at the head of the way to the cityH1931.
Thou shalt appointH5414 a wayH3605, for the swordH2719 to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in JerusalemH4616 the defenced.
For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the wayH6440, at the headH6440 of the two ways, to use divination: he shook the arrows to and fro, he consulted the teraphim, he looked in the liver.
In his rightH1571 handH3709 was the divination for Jerusalem, to setH5117 battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughterH5221, to lift upH413 the voice with shouting, to setH5117 battering rams againstH413 the gates, to castH5117 upH413 mounts, to build forts.
And it shall be unto them as a vain divination in their sight, whichH1697 have sworn oaths unto them: but he bringeth iniquity to remembrance, that they may be takenH1961.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GODH3027: BecauseH3027 ye have madeH7760 your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, soH3318 that in allH259 your doings your sins doH3318 appear; becauseH3027 that ye are comeH935 to remembrance, ye shall be takenH3318 with the handH3027.
And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whoseH1121 day is comeH935, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
thus saith the Lord GODH413: Remove the mitre, and takeH7200 offH7218 the crown: this shall be no moreH3588 the same: exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.
I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: this also shall be no moreH5921, untilH5921 he comeH1961 whose rightH3225 it is; and I will giveH7760 it him.
