Ezekiel 21:1-17
And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 unto meH413, sayingH559,
SonH1121 of manH120, setH7760 thy faceH6440 towardH413 Jerusalem, and drop thy word towardH413 the sanctuaries, and prophesyH5012 againstH413 the landH7704 of Israel;
and sayH559 to the landH6440 of Israel, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: BeholdH2005, I am againstH6440 thee, and will draw forthH8085 my sword outH6440 of itsH3605 sheath, and will cut offH398 from thee the righteous and the wicked.
SeeingH7200 then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword goH3518 forth outH7200 of itsH3605 sheath againstH3605 allH3605 fleshH1320 from the south to the north:
and all flesh shall know that I the LORDH136 have drawn forth my sword out of itsH3808 sheath; it shall notH3808 return anyH3808 moreH3808.
Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh beforeH413 their eyes.
And it shall be, when they sayH3478 unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt sayH3478, BecauseH6440 of the tidings, for it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord GODH413.
And the wordH559 of the LORDH3068 cameH3318 unto meH413, sayingH559,
Son of manH7563, prophesy, and say, ThusH3651 saith the LORDH6662: Say, A swordH2719, a swordH2719, it is sharpened, and also furbished:
it is sharpened that it may makeH3045 a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall weH3588 then makeH3045 mirth? the rod of my son, it contemneth everyH3605 tree.
And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
Cry and howl, son of manH3605: for it is uponH5921 my peopleH3820, it is uponH5921 allH3605 the princes of Israel: they are deliveredH3027 over to the sword with my peopleH3820: smite therefore uponH5921 thy thigh.
For there is a trial; and whatH1697 ifH1961 even the rod that contemneth shall be no more? saith the LordH3068 GODH3068.
Thou therefore, sonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012, and smite thine hands togetherH1571; and let the swordH2719 be doubled the third time, the swordH2719 of the deadly wounded: it is the swordH2719 of the great one that is deadly wounded, whichH2719 entereth intoH2719 their chambers.
I have set the pointH1300 of the sword againstH3605 allH3605 their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is madeH1961 as lightningH1300, it is pointed for slaughterH2874.
Gather thee together, go to the right; setH5414 thyself in array, go to the leftH5414; whithersoever thy face is setH5414.
I will also smite mine hands togetherH2199, and I will satisfy my fury: I the LORD have spokenH413 it.
