3And amightyגִּבּ֑וֹרgi.BorH1368kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428shallstandH5975upH5975, that shallruleH4910withgreatרַ֔בRavH7227dominionוּמָשַׁל֙u.ma.ShalH4910, anddoוְעָשָׂ֖הve.'a.SahH6213according to his will.

4And when he shallstandH5975upH5975, hiskingdomמַלְכוּת֔וֹmal.khu.ToH4438shall bebrokenתִּשָּׁבֵ֣רti.sha.VerH7665, and shall bedividedוְתֵחָ֕ץve.te.ChatzH2673toward thefourלְאַרְבַּ֖עle.'ar.Ba'H702windsרוּח֣וֹתru.ChotH7307ofheavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064; butnotוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808to hisposterityלְאַחֲרִית֗וֹle.'a.cha.ri.ToH319,norוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808according to hisdominionמָשָׁ֔לma.ShalH4910wherewith heruledH4910; for hiskingdomמַלְכוּת֔וֹmal.khu.ToH4438shall bepluckedתִנָּתֵשׁ֙ti.na.TeshH5428upH5975,evenכִּ֤יkiH3588forothersוְלַאֲחֵרִ֖יםve.la.'a.che.RimH312besidetheseאֵֽלֶּה׃'E.lehH428.

5And thekingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֖גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall bestrongוְיֶחֱזַ֥קve.ye.che.ZakH2388, and one of hisprincesשָׂרָ֑יוsa.RavH8269; and he shall bestrongוְיֶחֱזַ֤קve.ye.che.ZakH2388aboveעָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921him, and havedominionמֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃mem.shal.ToH4475; hisdominionH4475shall be agreatרַ֖בravH7227dominionH4475.

6And at theendוּלְקֵ֤ץu.le.KetzH7093ofyearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141they shalljoinH2266themselvestogetherH2266; and thedaughterוּבַ֣תu.VatH1323of thekingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֗גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shallcomeתָּבוֹא֙ta.Vo'H935to thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828tomakeH5414an agreement: butsheH1931shallnotH3808retainתַעְצֹ֞רta'.TzorH6113thestrengthH2220ofherH413armהַזְּר֗וֹעַha.ze.Ro.a'H2220;neitherH3808shall hestandיַעֲמֹד֙ya.'a.ModH5975,norH3808hisarmוּזְרֹע֔וֹu.ze.ro.'OH2220; butsheH1931shall begivenH5414upH5975, and they thatbroughtוּמְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙u.me.vi.'Ei.haH935herH413, and he that begatherH413, and he thatstrengthenedוּמַחֲזִקָ֖הּu.ma.cha.zi.KahH2388herH413inthoseH2388timesבָּעִתִּֽים׃ba.'i.TimH6256.

7Butoutוְהֶחֱזִֽיק׃ve.he.che.ZikH2388of a shoot fromherH413rootsשָׁרָשֶׁ֖יהָsha.ra.Shei.haH8328shall onestandH5975upH5975in hisplaceH935, which shallcomeH935unto thearmyהַחַ֗יִלha.Cha.yilH2428, and shallenterH935intoH413thefortressבְּמָעוֹז֙be.ma.'OzH4581of thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828, and shalldealוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213againstH413them, and shallprevailH5975:

8And also theirgodsאֱֽלֹהֵיהֶ֡ם'elo.hei.HemH430, with their molten images, and with their goodlyvesselsכְּלֵ֨יke.LeiH3627ofsilverכֶּ֧סֶףKe.sefH3701and ofgoldוְזָהָ֛בve.za.HavH2091, shall hecarryH935captiveintoH935Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; and he shallrefrainיַעֲמֹ֔דya.'a.ModH5975someyearsשָׁנִ֣יםsha.NimH8141from thekingמִמֶּ֖לֶךְmi.Me.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפֽוֹן׃ha.tza.FonH6828.

9And he shallcomeוּבָ֗אu.Va'H935intoH413therealmבְּמַלְכוּת֙be.mal.KhutH4438of thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045, but he shallreturnוְשָׁ֖בve.ShavH7725intoH413his ownlandאַדְמָתֽוֹ׃'ad.ma.ToH127.

10And hissonsוּבָנָ֣יוuv.novH1121shallwarיִתְגָּר֗וּyit.ga.RuH1624, and shallassembleוְאָסְפוּ֙ve.'a.se.FuH622amultitudeהֲמוֹן֙ha.mOnH1995ofgreatרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227forcesחֲיָלִ֣יםcha.ya.LimH2428which shallcomeH935on, andoverflowוְשָׁטַ֣ףve.sha.TafH7857, andpassוְעָבָ֑רve.'a.VarH5674throughH5674: and they shallreturnוְיָשֹׁ֥בve.ya.ShoH7725andwarוְיִתְגָּרֶ֖הve.yit.ga.ruH1624,evenעַד־'ad-H5704to hisfortressמָעֻזּֽוֹ׃ma.'u.zoH4581.

11And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall bemovedH3318with choler, and shallcomeH3318forthH3318andfightוְנִלְחַ֥םve.nil.ChamH3898with him, even with thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֑וֹןha.tza.FonH6828: and he shallsetH5414forthH3318agreatרָ֔בRavH7227multitudeהָמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995, and themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall begivenH5414intoH3027hishandבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027.

12And themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall beliftedH5375upH5375, and hisheartלְבָב֑וֹle.va.VoH3824shall beexaltedוְרָ֣םve.RumH7311: and he shallcastH5307downH5307tensH7239ofthousandsרִבֹּא֖וֹתri.bo.'otH7239, but he shallnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808prevailיָעֽוֹז׃ya.'ozH5810.

13And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallreturnוְשָׁב֙ve.ShavH7725, and shallsetוְהֶעֱמִ֣ידve.he.'e.MidH5975forth amultitudeהָמ֔וֹןha.MonH1995greaterH1419thanמִן־min-H4480theformerהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223; and he shallcomeH935on at theendוּלְקֵ֨ץu.le.KetzH7093of thetimesהָֽעִתִּ֤יםha.'i.TimH6256, even ofyearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141, with agreatH1419armyבְּחַ֥יִלbe.Cha.yilH2428and withmuchH7227substanceH2428.

14And inthoseH1992timesוּבָעִתִּ֣יםu.va.'i.TimH6256there shallmanyרַבִּ֥יםra.BimH7227standיַֽעַמְד֖וּya.'am.DuH5975upH5375againstעַל־'al-H5921thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֑גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045: also thechildrenוּבְנֵ֣י׀u.ve.NeiH1121of theviolentפָּרִיצֵ֣יpa.ri.TzeiH6530among thypeopleעַמְּךָ֗'a.me.KhaH5971shallliftH5375themselvesH1992upH5375toestablishלְהַעֲמִ֥ידle.ha.'a.MidH5975thevisionחָז֖וֹןcha.ZonH2377; but they shallfallוְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ׃ve.nikh.Sha.luH3782.

15SoH3808thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallcomeוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935, andcastוְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ve.yish.poKhH8210upH5975a mount, andtakeוְלָכַ֖דve.la.KhadH3920a well fencedcityעִ֣יר'irH5892: and thearmsH2220of thesouthהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045shallnotH3808withstandH5975,neitherH3808his chosenpeopleוְעַם֙ve.'AmH5971,neitherH3808shall there beanyוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369strengthH2220towithstandH5975.

16But he that comethagainstH413him shalldoוְיַ֨עַשׂve.Ya.'asH6213accordingH413to hisownH6440will, andnoneוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369shallstandעוֹמֵ֖דo.MedH5975beforeH6440him: and he shallstandוְיַעֲמֹ֥דve.ya.'a.ModH5975in the gloriouslandבְּאֶֽרֶץ־be.'e.retz-H776, and in hishandבְיָדֽוֹ׃ve.ya.DoH3027shall bedestructionH3615.

17And he shallsetוְיָשֵׂ֣ם׀ve.ya.SemH7760hisfaceפָּ֠נָיוPa.navH6440tocomeלָב֞וֹאla.Vo'H935with the strength of hiswholeH3605kingdomמַלְכוּת֛וֹmal.khu.ToH4438, anduprightוִישָׁרִ֥יםvi.sha.RimH3477onesH5975with him; and he shalldoוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213his pleasure: and he shallgiveיִתֶּן־yi.ten-H5414him thedaughterוּבַ֤תu.VatH1323ofwomenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802, tocorruptלְהַשְׁחִיתָ֔הּle.hash.chi.TahH7843herH3605; butsheH3808shallnotH3808standתַעֲמֹ֖דta.'a.ModH5975,neitherH3808be for him.

18After this shall heturnיָשִׁ֥יבya.ShivH7725hisfaceפָּנָ֛יוpa.NavH6440unto theislesלְאִיִּ֖יםle.'i.YimH339, and shalltakeH7725manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227: but a prince shallcauseH7725thereproachחֶרְפָּתוֹ֙cher.pa.ToH2781offered by him toceaseוְהִשְׁבִּ֨יתve.hish.BitH7673; yea,moreoverבִּלְתִּ֥יbil.TiH1115, he shallcauseH7725hisreproachחֶרְפָּת֖וֹcher.pa.ToH2781toturnH7725upon him.

19Then he shallturnוְיָשֵׁ֣בve.ya.ShevH7725hisfaceפָּנָ֔יוpa.NavH6440towardH6440thefortressesלְמָעוּזֵּ֖יle.ma.'u.ZeiH4581of hisownH6440landאַרְצ֑וֹ'ar.TzoH776: but he shallstumbleוְנִכְשַׁ֥לve.nikh.ShalH3782andfallוְנָפַ֖לve.na.FalH5307, and shallnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808befoundיִמָּצֵֽא׃yi.ma.Tze'H4672.

20Then shallstandH5975upH5975in hisplaceH5975one that shall cause an exactor topassH5674throughH5674the glory of thekingdomמַלְכ֑וּתmal.KhutH4438: butwithinעַל־'al-H5921fewאֲחָדִים֙'a.cha.DimH259daysוּבְיָמִ֤יםuv.ya.MimH3117he shall be destroyed,neitherוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808inangerבְאַפַּ֖יִםve.'a.Pa.yimH639,norוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808inbattleבְמִלְחָמָֽה׃ve.mil.cha.MahH4421.
