9AndSamuelשְׁמוּאֵ֗לshe.mu.'ElH8050tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947a suckinglambטְלֵ֤הte.LehH2924, andofferedוַיַּעֲלֵ֧הוּvai.ya.'a.le.huH5927it for awholeכָּלִ֖ילka.LilH3632burntעוֹלָ֛הo.LahH5930offering unto theLORDלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068: andSamuelשְׁמוּאֵ֤לshe.mu.'ElH8050criedוַיִּזְעַ֨קvai.yiz.'AkH2199unto theLORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068forIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478; and theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068answeredוַֽיַּעֲנֵ֖הוּvai.ya.'a.Ne.huH6030him.

10And asSamuelשְׁמוּאֵל֙she.mu.'ElH8050was offeringupמַעֲלֶ֣הma.'a.LehH5927theburntהָעוֹלָ֔הha.'o.LahH5930offering, thePhilistinesוּפְלִשְׁתִּ֣יםu.fe.lish.TimH6430drewH5066nearH5066tobattleלַמִּלְחָמָ֖הla.mil.cha.MahH4421againstH5921Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478: but theLORDיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068thunderedוַיַּרְעֵ֣םvai.yar.'EmH7481with agreatגָּ֠דוֹלGa.dolH1419thunderבְּקוֹל־be.kol-H6963on thatdayבַּיּ֨וֹםbai.YomH3117uponH5921thePhilistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּים֙pe.lish.TimH6430, and discomfited them; and they were smittendownוַיִּנָּגְפ֖וּvai.yi.na.ge.FuH5062beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

12ThenSamuelשְׁמוּאֵ֜לshe.mu.'ElH8050tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947astoneאֶ֣בֶן'E.venH68, andsetH7760itbetweenH996Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּה֙ha.mitz.PahH4709andShenהַשֵּׁ֔ןha.ShenH8129, andcalledוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121thenameשְׁמָ֖הּshe.MahH8034of it Eben-ezer,sayingוַיֹּאמַ֕רvai.yo.MarH559, Hitherto hath theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068helpedעֲזָרָ֥נוּ'a.za.Ra.nuH5826usH7760.
