2Takeקַח־kach-H3947thee a rollמְגִלַּת־me.gi.lat-H4039of a bookסֵפֶר֒se.FerH5612,and writeוְכָתַבְתָּ֣ve.kha.tav.TaH3789therein all the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֞יםha.de.va.RimH1697that I have spokenדִּבַּ֧רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto thee against Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֥לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and against Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063,and against all the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֑םha.go.YimH1471,from the dayמִיּ֞וֹםmi.YomH3117I spakeדִּבַּ֤רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto thee, from the daysמִימֵ֣יmi.MeiH3117of Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֔הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977,even unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

3It may be that the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063will hearיִשְׁמְעוּ֙yish.me.'UH8085all the evilהָ֣רָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451which I purposeחֹשֵׁ֖בcho.ShevH2803to doלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213unto them; that they may returnיָשׁ֗וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725every manאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376from his evilהָרָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451wayמִדַּרְכּ֣וֹmi.dar.KoH1870;that I may forgiveוְסָלַחְתִּ֥יve.sa.lach.TiH5545their iniquityלַעֲוֹנָ֖םla.'a.vo.NamH5771and their sinוּלְחַטָּאתָֽם׃ סu.le.cha.ta.TamH2403.

4Then Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֔הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414calledוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Baruchבָּר֖וּךְba.RukhH1263the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Neriahנֵֽרִיָּ֑הne.ri.YahH5374:and Baruchבָּר֜וּךְba.RukhH1263wroteוַיִּכְתֹּ֨בvai.yikh.ToH3789from the mouthמִפִּ֣יmi.PiH6310of Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֗הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414all the wordsדִּבְרֵ֧יdiv.ReiH1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068,which he had spokenדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696unto him, upon a rollמְגִלַּת־me.gi.lat-H4039of a bookסֵֽפֶר׃Se.ferH5612.

5And Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֔הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414commandedוַיְצַוֶּ֣הvay.tza.VehH6680Baruchבָּר֖וּךְba.RukhH1263,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, I amshut upעָצ֔וּר'a.TzurH6113;I cannotאוּכַ֔ל'u.KhalH3201goלָב֖וֹאla.Vo'H935into the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068:

6Therefore goוּבָאתָ֣u.va.TaH935thou, and readוְקָרָ֣אתָve.ka.Ra.taH7121in the rollבַמְּגִלָּ֣הva.me.gi.LahH4039,which thou hast writtenכָּתַֽבְתָּ־ka.tav.ta-H3789from my mouthמִפִּי֩mi.PiH6310,the wordsדִּבְרֵ֨יdiv.ReiH1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֥יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971in Yhwh'sיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004upon the fastingצ֑וֹםTzomH6685dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117:and also thou shalt readתִּקְרָאֵֽם׃tik.ra.'EmH7121them in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֧יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of all Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063that come outהַבָּאִ֥יםha.ba.'ImH935of their citiesמֵעָרֵיהֶ֖םme.'a.rei.HemH5892.

7It may be they will presentתִּפֹּ֤לti.PolH5307their supplicationתְּחִנָּתָם֙te.chi.na.TamH8467beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and will returnוְיָשֻׁ֕בוּve.ya.Shu.vuH7725every oneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376from his evilהָרָעָ֑הha.ra.'AhH7451wayמִדַּרְכּ֣וֹmi.dar.KoH1870:for greatגָד֤וֹלga.DolH1419isthe angerהָאַף֙ha.'AfH639and the furyוְהַ֣חֵמָ֔הve.Ha.che.MahH2534that Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath pronouncedדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696against this peopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971.
