2For thou hast madeשַׂ֤מְתָּSam.taH7760of a cityמֵעִיר֙me.'IrH5892an heapלַגָּ֔לla.GalH1530; ofa defencedבְצוּרָ֖הve.tzu.RahH1219cityקִרְיָ֥הkir.YahH7151a ruinלְמַפֵּלָ֑הle.ma.pe.LahH4654:a palaceאַרְמ֤וֹן'ar.MonH759of strangersזָרִים֙za.RimH2114to be no cityמֵעִ֔ירme.'IrH5892;it shall neverלְעוֹלָ֖םle.'o.LamH5769be builtיִבָּנֶֽה׃yi.ba.NehH1129.

3Therefore shall the strongעָ֑ז'AzH5794peopleעַם־'am-H5971glorifyיְכַבְּד֣וּךָye.kha.be.Du.khaH3513thee, the cityקִרְיַ֛תkir.YatH7151of the terribleעָרִיצִ֖ים'a.ri.TzimH6184nationsגּוֹיִ֥םgo.YimH1471shall fearיִירָאֽוּךָ׃yi.ra.'U.khaH3372thee.

4For thou hast been a strengthמָע֥וֹזma.'ozH4581to the poorלַדָּ֛לla.DalH1800,a strengthמָע֥וֹזma.'ozH4581to the needyלָאֶבְי֖וֹןla.'ev.YonH34in his distressבַּצַּר־ba.tzar-H6862,a refugeמַחְסֶ֤הmach.SehH4268from the stormמִזֶּ֙רֶם֙mi.Ze.remH2230,a shadowצֵ֣לtzelH6738from the heatמֵחֹ֔רֶבme.Cho.revH2721,when the blastר֥וּחַRu.achH7307of the terrible onesעָרִיצִ֖ים'a.ri.TzimH6184isas a stormכְּזֶ֥רֶםke.Ze.remH2230againstthe wallקִֽיר׃KirH7023.
