29Rejoiceתִּשְׂמְחִ֤יtis.me.ChiH8055not thou, whole Palestinaפְלֶ֙שֶׁת֙fe.Le.shetH6429,because the rodשֵׁ֣בֶטShe.vetH7626of him that smoteמַכֵּ֑ךְma.KekhH5221thee is brokenנִשְׁבַּ֖רnish.BarH7665:for out of the serpent’sנָחָשׁ֙na.ChashH5175rootמִשֹּׁ֤רֶשׁmi.Sho.reshH8328shall come forthיֵ֣צֵאYe.tze'H3318a cockatriceצֶ֔פַעTze.fa'H6848,and his fruitוּפִרְי֖וֹu.fir.YoH6529shall bea fieryH8314flyingמְעוֹפֵֽף׃me.'o.FefH5774serpentשָׂרָ֥ףsa.RafH8314.

30And the firstbornבְּכוֹרֵ֣יbe.kho.ReiH1060of the poorדַלִּ֔יםda.LimH1800shall feedוְרָעוּ֙ve.ra.'UH7462,and the needyוְאֶבְיוֹנִ֖יםve.'ev.yo.NimH34shall lie downיִרְבָּ֑צוּyir.Ba.tzuH7257in safetyלָבֶ֣טַחla.Ve.tachH983:and I will killוְהֵמַתִּ֤יve.he.ma.TiH4191thy rootשָׁרְשֵׁ֔ךְsha.re.ShekhH8328with famineבָֽרָעָב֙va.ra.'AvH7458,and he shall slayיַהֲרֹֽג׃ya.ha.RogH2026thy remnantוּשְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְu.she.'e.ri.TekhH7611.

31Howlהֵילִ֤ילִֽיhei.Li.liH3213,O gateשַׁ֙עַר֙sha.'arH8179;cryזַֽעֲקִי־za.'a.ki-H2199,O cityעִ֔יר'IrH5892;thou, whole Palestinaפְּלֶ֣שֶׁתpe.Le.shetH6429, artdissolvedנָמ֖וֹגna.MogH4127:for there shall comeבָּ֔אBa'H935from the northמִצָּפוֹן֙mi.tza.fOnH6828a smokeעָשָׁ֣ן'a.ShanH6227, and none shall bealoneבּוֹדֵ֖דbo.DedH909in his appointed timesבְּמוֹעָדָֽיו׃be.mo.'a.DavH4151.

32What shall onethen answerיַּעֲנֶ֖הya.'a.NehH6030the messengersמַלְאֲכֵי־mal.'a.khei-H4397of the nationג֑וֹיGoyH1471?that Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hath foundedיִסַּ֣דyi.SadH3245Zionצִיּ֔וֹןtzi.YonH6726,and the poorעֲנִיֵּ֥י'a.ni.YeiH6041of his peopleעַמּֽוֹ׃ סa.MoH5971shall trustיֶחֱס֖וּye.che.SuH2620in it.
