2Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068hath also a controversyוְרִ֥יבve.RivH7379with Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and will punishוְלִפְקֹ֤דve.lif.KodH6485Jacobיַעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290according to his waysכִּדְרָכָ֔יוkid.ra.KhavH1870;according to his doingsכְּמַעֲלָלָ֖יוke.ma.'a.la.LavH4611will he recompenseיָשִׁ֥יבya.ShivH7725him.

3He took his brotherאָחִ֑יו'a.ChivH251by the heelעָקַ֣ב'a.KavH6117in the wombבַּבֶּ֖טֶןba.Be.tenH990,and by his strengthוּבְאוֹנ֖וֹu.ve.'o.NoH202he had powerשָׂרָ֥הsa.RahH8280with Godאֱלֹהִֽים׃'E.lo.HimH430:

4Yea, he had powerוָיָּ֤שַׂרvai.Ya.sarH7786over the angelמַלְאָךְ֙mal.'oKhH4397,and prevailedוַיֻּכָ֔לvai.yu.KhalH3201:he weptבָּכָ֖הba.KhahH1058,and made supplicationוַיִּתְחַנֶּן־vai.yit.cha.nen-H2603unto him: he foundיִמְצָאֶ֔נּוּyim.tza.'E.nuH4672him inBeth–elH1008,and there he spakeיְדַבֵּ֥רye.da.BerH1696with us;

7He isa merchantכְּנַ֗עַןke.Na.'anH3667,the balancesמֹאזְנֵ֥יmoz.NeiH3976of deceitמִרְמָ֖הmir.MahH4820arein his handבְּיָד֛וֹbe.ya.DoH3027:he lovethאָהֵֽב׃'a.HevH157to oppressלַעֲשֹׁ֥קla.'a.ShokH6231.

8And Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Yet I am become richעָשַׁ֔רְתִּי'a.Shar.tiH6238,I have found me outמָצָ֥אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672substanceא֖וֹן'onH202: inall my laboursיְגִיעַ֕יye.gi.'AiH3018they shall findיִמְצְאוּ־yim.tze.'u-H4672none iniquityעָוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771in me that weresinחֵֽטְא׃Chet'H2399.
