Moreover,he makesיִכְרֹ֔תוּyikh.Ro.tuH3772a covenantוּבְרִית֙u.ve.RitH1285with Assyriaאַשּׁ֣וּר'a.ShurH804,And oilוְשֶׁ֖מֶןve.She.menH8081is carriedיוּבָֽל׃yu.ValH2986to Egyptלְמִצְרַ֥יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

2The Lordלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068also has adisputeוְרִ֥יבve.RivH7379with Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,And will punishוְלִפְקֹ֤דve.lif.KodH6485Jacobיַעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290according to his waysכִּדְרָכָ֔יוkid.ra.KhavH1870;He will repayיָשִׁ֥יבya.ShivH7725him according to his deedsכְּמַעֲלָלָ֖יוke.ma.'a.la.LavH4611.

4Yes, he wrestledשָׂרָ֥הsa.RahH8280with the angelמַלְאָךְ֙mal.'oKhH4397and prevailedוַיֻּכָ֔לvai.yu.KhalH3201;He weptבָּכָ֖הba.KhahH1058andsoughtH2603His favorוַיִּתְחַנֶּן־vai.yit.cha.nen-H2603.He foundיִמְצָאֶ֔נּוּyim.tza.'E.nuH4672Him atBethelH1008And thereוְשָׁ֖םve.ShamH8033He spokeיְדַבֵּ֥רye.da.BerH1696with us,

6Therefore,returnתָשׁ֑וּבta.ShuvH7725to your GodH430,Observeשְׁמֹ֔רshe.MorH8104kindnessחֶ֤סֶדChe.sedH2617and justiceוּמִשְׁפָּט֙u.mish.PatH4941, Andwaitוְקַוֵּ֥הve.ka.VehH6960for your GodH430continuallyתָּמִֽיד׃ta.MidH8548.

7AmerchantH3669,in whose handsבְּיָד֛וֹbe.ya.DoH3027are falseמִרְמָ֖הmir.MahH4820balancesמֹאזְנֵ֥יmoz.NeiH3976,He lovesאָהֵֽב׃'a.HevH157to oppressלַעֲשֹׁ֥קla.'a.ShokH6231.

8And Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Surelyאַ֣ךְ'akhH389I have becomeעָשַׁ֔רְתִּי'a.Shar.tiH6238richH6238,I have foundמָצָ֥אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672wealthא֖וֹן'onH202for myself;In allכָּל־kol-H3605my laborsיְגִיעַ֕יye.gi.'AiH3018they will findיִמְצְאוּ־yim.tze.'u-H4672in meNoלֹ֥אlo'H3808iniquityעָוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834would besinחֵֽטְא׃Chet'H2399.”

9But I have beenthe Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430sinceH4480the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; I will make youliveאוֹשִֽׁיבְךָ֥'o.shi.ve.KhaH3427in tentsבָאֳהָלִ֖יםvo.'o.ha.LimH168againעֹ֛ד'odH5750,As in the daysכִּימֵ֥יki.MeiH3117of the appointedמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150festivalH4150.

10I have also spokenוְדִבַּ֙רְתִּי֙ve.di.Bar.tiH1696to theprophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030, And IgaveH7235numerousH7235visionsחָז֣וֹןcha.ZonH2377,And throughוּבְיַ֥דu.ve.YadH3027the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030I gaveH1819parablesH1819.

12NowJacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290fledוַיִּבְרַ֥חvai.yiv.RachH1272to thelandH7704of Aramאֲרָ֑ם'a.RamH758, AndIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478workedוַיַּעֲבֹ֤דvai.ya.'a.VodH5647for a wifeבְּאִשָּׁ֔הbe.'i.ShahH802,And for a wifeוּבְאִשָּׁ֖הu.ve.'i.ShahH802he keptשָׁמָֽר׃sha.MarH8104sheep.

13But by aprophetוּבְנָבִ֕יאu.ve.na.Vi'H5030the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068broughtהֶעֱלָ֧הhe.'e.LahH5927IsraelH3478from Egyptמִמִּצְרָ֑יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,And by a prophetוּבְנָבִ֖יאu.ve.na.Vi'H5030he was keptH8104.

14Ephraimאֶפְרַ֖יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669has provokedH3707to bitterתַּמְרוּרִ֑יםtam.ru.RimH8563angerהִכְעִ֥יסhikh.'IsH3707;So his LordH136will leaveיִטּ֔וֹשׁyi.To.oshH5203hisbloodguiltוְדָמָיו֙ve.da.MavH1818on himAnd bringH7725backH7725hisreproachוְחֶ֨רְפָּת֔וֹve.Cher.pa.ToH2781to him.
