2 Kings 9:21-29
21Then 1JoramH3088 saidH559, “2GetH631 readyH631.” And they 3madeH631 his chariotH7393 readyH631. 4Then 5JoramH3088 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 and AhaziahH274 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 wentH3318 outH3318, eachH376 in his chariotH7393, and they wentH3318 outH3318 to meetH7122 JehuH3058 and foundH4672 him on the 67propertyH2513 of NabothH5022 the JezreeliteH3158. 22When 8JoramH3088 sawH7200 JehuH3058, he saidH559, “Is your intention peaceH7965, JehuH3058?” And he 9answeredH559, “WhatH4100 ‘peaceH7965,’ 10soH5704 longH5704 as your motherH517 Jezebel’sH348 acts of prostitutionH2183 and witchcraftH3785 are so manyH7227?” 23So 11JoramH3088 12turnedH2015H3027 backH2015 and fledH5127, and he saidH559 to AhaziahH274, “13There is treacheryH4820, AhaziahH274!” 24Then 14JehuH3058 15drewH4390 his bowH7198 with his fullH4390 strengthH3027 and 16shotH5221 17JoramH3088 betweenH996 his armsH2220; and the arrowH2678 wentH3318 18throughH3318 his heartH3820, and he sankH3766 in his chariotH7393. 25And Jehu saidH559 to BidkarH920 his officerH7991, “PickH5375 him upH5375 and 19throwH7993 him on the 20propertyH2513 of the fieldH7704 of NabothH5022 the JezreeliteH3158; for rememberH2142, when 21you and I were ridingH7392 togetherH6776 afterH310 his fatherH1 AhabH256, that the 22LordH3068 broughtH5375 thisH2088 23pronouncementH4853 againstH5921 him: 26‘24I have certainlyH518H3808 seenH7200 yesterdayH570 the bloodH1818 of NabothH5022 and the bloodH1818 of his sonsH1121,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068, ‘and 25I will repayH7999 you on thisH2088 26propertyH2513,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068. NowH6258 then, pickH5375 him upH5375 and throwH7993 him on the 27propertyH2513, in accordance with the wordH1697 of the LordH3068.”
2728When AhaziahH274 the kingH4428 of JudahH3063 sawH7200 this, he fledH5127 by wayH1870 of the gardenH1588 houseH1004. But JehuH3058 pursuedH7291 him and saidH559, “29ShootH5221 him tooH1571, in the chariotH4818.” So they shot him at the ascentH4608 of GurH1483, whichH834 is at 30IbleamH2991. But he fledH5127 to MegiddoH4023 and diedH4191 thereH8033. 2831Then his servantsH5650 carriedH7392 him inH7392 aH7392 chariotH7392 to JerusalemH3389, and buriedH6912 him in his graveH6900 with his fathersH1 in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732.
29Now in 32the eleventhH259H6240 yearH8141 of JoramH3141, the sonH1121 of AhabH256, AhaziahH274 becameH4427 kingH4427 overH5921 JudahH3063.
