1 Samuel 17:48-54
48Then it happenedH1961, whenH3588 the PhilistineH6430 1cameH1980 closerH7126 to meetH7122 DavidH1732, that 2DavidH1732 ranH7323 quicklyH4116 toward the battleH4634 lineH4634 to meetH7122 the PhilistineH6430. 49And DavidH1732 putH7971 his handH3027 into his bagH3627 and tookH3947 from it a stoneH68 and slungH7049 it, and struckH5221 the PhilistineH6430 on his foreheadH4696. And the stoneH68 penetratedH2883 his foreheadH4696, and he fellH5307 on his faceH6440 to the groundH776.
50So DavidH1732 prevailedH2388 overH4480 the PhilistineH6430 with the slingH7050 and the stoneH68: he struckH5221 the PhilistineH6430 and killedH4191 him, and thereH369 wasH369 noH369 swordH2719 in David’sH1732 handH3027. 51Then DavidH1732 ranH7323 and stoodH5975 overH413 the PhilistineH6430, and 3tookH3947 his swordH2719 and drewH8025 it outH8025 of its sheathH8593 and finishedH4191 him, and cutH3772 offH3772 his headH7218 with it. 4When the PhilistinesH6430 sawH7200 that their championH1368 was deadH4191, they fledH5127. 52Then the menH376 of IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063 roseH6965 upH6965 and shoutedH7321, and they pursuedH7291 the PhilistinesH6430 5as farH5704 as the valleyH1516, and to the gatesH8179 of 6EkronH6138. And the PhilistineH6430 deadH2491 7layH5307 along the wayH1870 to 8ShaaraimH8189, even to GathH1661 and EkronH6138. 53Then the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 returnedH7725 from their closeH1814 pursuitH310H1814 of the PhilistinesH6430, and plunderedH8155 their campsH4264. 54And DavidH1732 tookH3947 the Philistine’sH6430 headH7218 and broughtH935 it to JerusalemH3389, but he putH7760 his weaponsH3627 in his tentH168.
