1 Samuel 1:24-28
24Now whenH3512 she had weanedH1580 him, 1she tookH5927 him upH5927 with her, with a three-year-oldH7969 bullH6499, oneH259 ephahH374 of flourH7058, and a jugH5035 of wineH3196, and broughtH935 him to 2the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 in ShilohH7887, although the childH5288 was youngH5288.
25Then 3they 4slaughteredH7819 the bullH6499, and 5broughtH935 the boyH5288 to EliH5941.
26And she saidH559, “PardonH994 me, my lordH113! 6As your soulH5315 livesH2416, my lordH113, I am the womanH802 who stoodH5324 hereH2088 besideH5973 you, prayingH6419 to the LordH3068.
277For thisH2088 boyH5288 I prayedH6419, and the LordH3068 has grantedH5414 me my requestH7596 whichH834 I askedH7592 of Him.
288So I have alsoH1571 9dedicatedH7592 him to the LordH3068; asH3605H3117 longH3605H3117 as he livesH1961 he is 10dedicatedH7592 to the LordH3068.” And 11he worshipedH2331 the LordH3068 thereH8033.
