6Seekדִּרְשׁ֥וּdir.ShuH1875the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068so that you may liveוִֽחְי֑וּvich.YuH2421,Orפֶּן־pen-H6435He will breakH6743throughH6743like afireכָּאֵשׁ֙ka.'EshH784,houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130,And it will consumeוְאָכְלָ֥הve.'a.khe.LahH398with noH369oneH369to extinguishמְכַבֶּ֖הme.kha.BehH3518itfor BethelH1008,

7Forthose who turnהַהֹפְכִ֥יםha.ho.fe.KhimH2015justiceמִשְׁפָּ֑טmish.PatH4941into wormwoodלְלַעֲנָ֖הle.la.'a.NahH3939, Andthrowהִנִּֽיחוּ׃hi.Ni.chuH5117righteousnessוּצְדָקָ֖הu.tze.da.KahH6666to the earthלָאָ֥רֶץla.'A.retzH776.”

8He who madeעֹשֵׂ֨ה'o.SehH6213thePleiadesכִימָ֜הkhi.MahH3598and Orionוּכְסִ֗ילu.khe.SilH3685, Andchangesוְהֹפֵ֤ךְve.ho.FekhH2015deepצַלְמָ֔וֶתtzal.Ma.vetH6757darknessH6757into morningלַבֹּ֙קֶר֙la.Bo.kerH1242, Who alsodarkensהֶחְשִׁ֑יךְhech.ShikhH2821dayוְי֖וֹםve.YomH3117intonightלַ֣יְלָהLay.lahH3915, Whocallsהַקּוֹרֵ֣אha.ko.Re'H7121for the watersלְמֵֽי־le.mei-H4325of the seaהַיָּ֗םhai.YamH3220And poursוַֽיִּשְׁפְּכֵ֛םvai.yish.pe.KhemH8210them outH8210on the surfaceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776, TheLordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068is His nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃ סshe.MoH8034.

9It is He whomakesH1082destructionשֹׁ֖דshodH7701flashH1082upon the strongעָ֑ז'AzH5794, So thatdestructionוְשֹׁ֖דve.ShodH7701comesיָבֽוֹא׃ya.Vo'H935upon the fortressמִבְצָ֥רmiv.TzarH4013.

10They hateשָׂנְא֥וּsa.ne.'UH8130him whorebukesמוֹכִ֑יחַmo.Khi.achH3198in thegateבַשַּׁ֖עַרva.Sha.'arH8179, And theydespiseיְתָעֵֽבוּ׃ye.ta.'E.vuH8581him who speaksוְדֹבֵ֥רve.do.VerH1696withintegrityתָּמִ֖יםta.MimH8549.

11Thereforeלָ֠כֵןLa.khenH3651becauseיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282you imposeH1318heavyH1318rentH1318on the poorדָּ֗לDalH1800And takeתִּקְח֣וּtik.ChuH3947a tributeוּמַשְׂאַת־u.mas.'at-H4864of grainבַּר֙barH1250from them, Thoughyou have builtבְּנִיתֶ֖םbe.ni.TemH1129housesבָּתֵּ֥יba.TeiH1004of cutH1496stoneגָזִ֛יתga.ZitH1496,Yet you will not liveתֵ֣שְׁבוּTe.she.vuH3427in them;You have plantedנְטַעְתֶּ֔םne.ta'.TemH5193beautifulחֶ֣מֶדChe.medH2531vineyardsכַּרְמֵי־kar.mei-H3754, yet you willnot drinkתִשְׁתּ֖וּtish.TuH8354their wineיֵינָֽם׃yei.NamH3196.

12For I knowיָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ya.Da'.tiH3045your offensesפִּשְׁעֵיכֶ֔םpish.'ei.KhemH6588are manyרַבִּ֣יםra.BimH7227and your sinsחַטֹּֽאתֵיכֶ֑םcha.to.tei.KhemH2403are greatוַעֲצֻמִ֖יםva.'a.tzu.MimH6099, You who arehostileצֹרְרֵ֤יtzo.re.ReiH6887to the righteousצַדִּיק֙tza.DikH6662andacceptלֹ֣קְחֵיLo.ke.cheiH3947bribesכֹ֔פֶרKho.ferH3724, Andturnהִטּֽוּ׃hi.TuH5186awayH5186the poorוְאֶבְיוֹנִ֖יםve.'ev.yo.NimH34from justice at thegateבַּשַּׁ֥עַרba.Sha.'arH8179.
