7And he toreH5422downH5422the cubiclesבָּתֵּ֣יba.TeiH1004of the malecultהַקְּדֵשִׁ֔יםha.ke.de.ShimH6945prostitutesH6945whichאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834werein the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,whereאֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁ֛ם'a.Sher shamH834 H8033the womenהַנָּשִׁ֗יםha.na.ShimH802were weavingאֹרְג֥וֹת'o.re.goytH707hangingsבָּתִּ֖יםba.TimH1004for the Asherahלָאֲשֵׁרָֽה׃la.'a.she.RahH842.

8Then he broughtוַיָּבֵ֤אvai.ya.Ve'H935allכָּל־kol-H3605the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548from the citiesמֵעָרֵ֣יme.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and defiledוַיְטַמֵּ֣אvay.ta.Me'H2930the highהַבָּמ֗וֹתha.ba.MotH1116placesH1116whereשָׁ֙מָּה֙Sha.mahH834 H8033the priestsהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםha.Ko.ha.NimH3548had burnedH6999incenseH6999, fromGebaמִגֶּ֖בַעmi.Ge.va'H1387to BeershebaH884;and he toreH5422downH5422the highבָּמ֣וֹתba.MotH1116placesH1116of the gatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֗יםha.she.'a.RimH8179that wereat the entranceפֶּ֜תַחPe.tachH6607of the gateשַׁ֤עַרSha.'arH8179of Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091the governorשַׂר־sar-H8269of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892,whichH834wereon one’sאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376leftשְׂמֹ֥אולse.MolH8040at the cityהָעִֽיר׃ha.'IrH5892gateבְּשַׁ֥עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179.

9Neverthelessאַ֗ךְ'AkhH389the priestsכֹּהֲנֵ֣יko.ha.NeiH3548of the highהַבָּמ֔וֹתha.ba.MotH1116placesH1116did not goH5927upH5927to the altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389,but they ateאָכְל֥וּ'a.khe.LuH398unleavenedמַצּ֖וֹתma.TzotH4682breadH4682amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432their brothersאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃'a.chei.HemH251.

10He also defiledוְטִמֵּ֣אve.ti.Me'H2930Tophethהַתֹּ֔פֶתha.To.fetH8612,whichאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834is in the Valleyבְּגֵ֣יbe.GeiH1516of the Sonבֶןve.nei-H1121of Hinnomהִנֹּ֑םhi.NomH2011,so that noלְבִלְתִּ֗יle.vil.TiH1115oneאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376would make his sonבְּנ֧וֹbe.NoH1121or his daughterבִּתּ֛וֹbi.ToH1323passלְהַעֲבִ֨ירle.ha.'a.VirH5674through the fireבָּאֵ֖שׁba.'EshH784forMolechלַמֹּֽלֶךְ׃la.Mo.lekhH4432.

11And he didH7673awayH7673withH7673the horsesהַסּוּסִ֗יםha.su.SimH5483that the kingsמַלְכֵ֨יmal.KheiH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֤הye.hu.DahH3063had givenנָתְנוּ֩na.te.NuH5414to thesunלַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙la.She.meshH8121,at the entranceמִבֹּ֣אmi.Bo'H935of the houseבֵית־veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,by the chamberלִשְׁכַּת֙lish.KatH3957of Nathan-melechH5419the officialהַסָּרִ֔יסha.sa.RisH5631,whichH834was at thecoveredH6503courtyardH6503;and he burnedשָׂרַ֥ףsa.RafH8313the chariotsמַרְכְּב֥וֹתmar.ke.VotH4818of the sunהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121with fireבָּאֵֽשׁ׃ba.'EshH784.

12The kingמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428also toreH5422downH5422the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּח֡וֹתha.miz.be.ChotH4196that wereon the roofהַגָּג֩ha.GagH1406,the upperעֲלִיַּ֨ת'a.li.YatH5944chamberH5944of Ahazאָחָ֜ז'a.ChazH271,whichH834the kingsהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063had madeעָשׂ֣וּ׀'a.SuH6213, andthe altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּחוֹת֙ha.miz.be.chOtH4196whichH834Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֔הme.na.ShehH4519had madeעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213in the twoבִּשְׁתֵּ֛יbish.TeiH8147courtyardsחַצְר֥וֹתchatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068; and hesmashedH7533them thereמִשָּׁ֔םmi.ShamH8033andthrewוְהִשְׁלִ֥יךְve.hish.LikhH7993their dustעֲפָרָ֖ם'a.fa.RamH6083into the brookנַ֥חַלNa.chalH5158Kidronקִדְרֽוֹן׃kid.RonH6939.

14He also smashedH7665toH7665piecesH7665the memorialH4676stonesH4676and cutוַיִּכְרֹ֖תvai.yikh.RotH3772downH3772theAsherimהָאֲשֵׁרִ֑יםha.'a.she.RimH842, andfilledוַיְמַלֵּ֥אvay.ma.Le'H4390their placesמְקוֹמָ֖םme.ko.MamH4725with humanאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120bonesעַצְמ֥וֹתatz.MotH6106.

15Furthermoreוְגַ֨םve.GamH1571,the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַha.miz.Be.achH4196that wasat BethelH1008and thehighהַבָּמָה֙ha.ba.MahH1116placeהַבָּמָ֖הha.ba.MahH1116whichH834Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֤םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָט֙ne.VatH5028,whoH834misledH2398Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478intoH2398sinהֶחֱטִ֣יאhe.che.Ti'H2398,had madeעָשָׂ֜ה'a.SahH6213,evenגַּ֣םgamH1571that altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֧חַha.miz.Be.achH4196and the highהַבָּמָ֛הha.ba.MahH1116placeH1116he toreH5422downנָתָ֑ץna.TatzH5422. 16Now when Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֗הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977turnedוַיִּ֣פֶןvai.Yi.fenH6437,he sawוַיַּ֨רְאvai.Yar'H7200the gravesהַקְּבָרִ֤יםha.ke.va.RimH6913that werethereשָׁם֙shamH8033on the mountainבָּהָ֔רba.HarH2022,and he sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֗חvai.yish.LachH7971menand tookוַיִּקַּ֤חvai.yi.KachH3947the bonesהָֽעֲצָמוֹת֙ha.'a.tza.mOtH6106from the gravesהַקְּבָרִ֔יםha.ke.va.RimH6913,and burnedוַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ףvai.yis.RofH8313themon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196and defiledוַֽיְטַמְּאֵ֑הוּvay.ta.me.'E.huH2930itin accordance with the wordכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068whichH834the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430proclaimedקָרָא֙ka.Ra'H7121, the onewhoH834proclaimedקָרָ֔אka.Ra'H7121theseהָאֵֽלֶּה׃ha.'E.lehH428thingsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697.

18And he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Leaveהַנִּ֣יחוּha.Ni.chuH5117him aloneH5117;noאַל־'al-H408oneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376is to disturbיָנַ֣עya.Na'H5128his bonesעַצְמֹתָ֑יו'atz.mo.TavH6106.”So they leftH4422his bonesעַצְמֹתָ֔יו'atz.mo.TavH6106undisturbedH4422with the bonesעַצְמ֣וֹתatz.MotH6106of the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834cameבָּ֖אba'H935from Samariaמִשֹּׁמְרֽוֹן׃mi.sho.me.RonH8111.
