8Then Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֜הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518the highהַגָּדוֹל֙ha.ga.dOlH1419priestהַכֹּהֵ֤ןha.ko.HenH3548saidוַ֠יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559to Shaphanשָׁפָ֣ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613, “I have foundמָצָ֖אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672the Bookסֵ֧פֶרSe.ferH5612of the Lawהַתּוֹרָ֛הha.to.RahH8451in the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.”And Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֧הchil.ki.YahH2518gaveוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414the bookהַסֵּ֛פֶרha.Se.ferH5612to Shaphanשָׁפָ֖ןsha.FanH8227,who readוַיִּקְרָאֵֽהוּ׃vai.yik.ra.'E.huH7121it.

9Then Shaphanשָׁפָ֤ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613cameוַיָּבֹ֞אvai.ya.Vo'H935to the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428and broughtH7725backוַיָּ֥שֶׁבvai.Ya.shevH7725wordדָּבָ֑רda.VarH1697to the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Your servantsעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙'a.va.Dei.khaH5650have emptiedH5413outH5413the moneyהַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ha.Ke.sefH3701that was foundהַנִּמְצָ֣אha.nim.Tza'H4672in the houseבַבַּ֔יִתva.Ba.yitH1004,and have handedיַד֙yadH5414 H3027it overH5414to the workmenעֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה'o.Sei ha.me.la.KhahH6213 H4399who haveH6485the oversightH6485of the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

10Moreover, Shaphanשָׁפָ֤ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613informedוַיַּגֵּ֞דvai.ya.GedH5046the kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֖הchil.ki.YahH2518the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548has givenנָ֣תַןNa.tanH5414me a bookסֵ֚פֶרSe.ferH5612.”And Shaphanשָׁפָ֖ןsha.FanH8227readוַיִּקְרָאֵ֥הוּvai.yik.ra.'E.huH7121it in the presenceלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440of the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

11When the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428heardכִּשְׁמֹ֣עַkish.Mo.a'H8085the wordsדִּבְרֵ֖יdiv.ReiH1697of the Bookסֵ֣פֶרSe.ferH5612of the Lawהַתּוֹרָ֑הha.to.RahH8451,he toreוַיִּקְרַ֖עvai.yik.Ra'H7167his clothesבְּגָדָֽיו׃be.ga.DavH899.

12Then the kingהַמֶּ֡לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandedוַיְצַ֣וvay.TzavH6680Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֣הchil.ki.YahH2518the priestהַכֹּהֵ֡ןha.ko.HenH3548,Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֣ם'a.chi.KamH296the sonבֶּן־be.no.Sha-H1121of Shaphanשָׁ֠פָןSha.fanH8227,Achborעַכְבּ֨וֹרakh.BorH5907the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Micaiahמִיכָיָ֜הmi.kha.YahH4320,Shaphanשָׁפָ֣ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613,and Asaiahעֲשָׂיָ֥ה'a.sa.YahH6222the king’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428servantעֶֽבֶד־'e.ved-H5650,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,
