5“Returnשׁ֣וּבshuvH7725and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֞ve.'a.mar.TaH559toHezekiahחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּchiz.ki.Ya.huH2396the leaderנְגִיד־ne.gid-H5057of My peopleעַמִּ֗י'a.MiH5971, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵי֙'e.lo.HeiH430of your fatherאָבִ֔יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559: “I have heardשָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙sha.Ma'.tiH8085your prayerתְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָte.fi.la.Te.khaH8605,I have seenרָאִ֖יתִיra.'I.tiH7200your tearsדִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָdim.'a.Te.khaH1832;beholdH2009,I am going to healרֹ֣פֶאRo.fe'H7495you. On the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayבַּיּוֹם֙bai.yOmH3117you shall goתַּעֲלֶ֖הta.'a.LehH5927upH5927to the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

6And I will addוְהֹסַפְתִּ֣יve.ho.saf.TiH3254fifteenחֲמֵ֤שׁ עֶשְׂרֵה֙cha.Mesh 'es.RehH2568 H6240yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141to yourlifeיָמֶ֗יךָya.Mei.khaH3117,and I will saveאַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔'a.Tzi.le.khaH5337you and thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892from the handוּמִכַּ֤ףu.mi.KafH3709of the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Assyriaאַשּׁוּר֙'a.ShurH804; andI will protectוְגַנּוֹתִי֙ve.ga.no.TiH1598thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892for My own sakeלְמַֽעֲנִ֔יle.ma.'a.NiH4616and for My servantעַבְדִּֽי׃'av.DiH5650David’sדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732sakeוּלְמַ֖עַןu.le.Ma.'anH4616.”’”

7Then Isaiahיְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּye.sha'.Ya.huH3470saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Takeקְח֖וּke.ChuH3947a cakeדְּבֶ֣לֶתde.Ve.letH1690of figsתְּאֵנִ֑יםte.'e.NimH8384.”And they tookוַיִּקְח֛וּvai.yik.ChuH3947itand placedוַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּvai.ya.Si.muH7760iton the inflamedH7822spotH7822,and he recoveredוַיֶּֽחִי׃vai.Ye.chiH2421.

8Now Hezekiahחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Isaiahיְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּye.sha'.Ya.huH3470, “Whatמָ֣הmahH4100will bethe signא֔וֹת'otH226that the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068will healיִרְפָּ֥אyir.Pa'H7495me, and that I will goוְעָלִ֛יתִיve.'a.Li.tiH5927upH5927to the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068on the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117?”

9Isaiahיְשַׁעְיָ֗הוּye.sha'.Ya.huH3470saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Thisזֶה־zeh-H2088shall be the signהָאוֹת֙ha.'OtH226to you from the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,that the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will performיַעֲשֶׂ֣הya.'a.SehH6213the wordהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697that He has spokenדִּבֵּ֑רdi.BerH1696:shall the shadowהַצֵּל֙ha.TzelH6738goהָלַ֤ךְha.LakhH1980forward tenעֶ֣שֶׂר'E.serH6235stepsמַֽעֲל֔וֹתma.'a.LotH4609orאִם־'im-H518goיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725backH7725tenעֶ֥שֶׂר'E.serH6235stepsמַעֲלֽוֹת׃ma.'a.LotH4609?”

10So Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “It isH7043easyH7043for the shadowלַצֵּ֔לla.TzelH6738to declineלִנְט֖וֹתlin.TotH5186tenעֶ֣שֶׂר'E.serH6235stepsמַעֲל֑וֹתma.'a.LotH4609;noלֹ֣אlo'H3808,but have the shadowהַצֵּ֛לha.TzelH6738turnיָשׁ֥וּבya.ShuvH7725backwardאֲחֹרַנִּ֖ית'a.cho.ra.NitH322tenעֶ֥שֶׂר'E.serH6235stepsמַעֲלֽוֹת׃ma.'a.LotH4609.”

11Then Isaiahיְשַׁעְיָ֥הוּye.sha'.Ya.huH3470the prophetהַנָּבִ֖יאha.na.Vi'H5030calledוַיִּקְרָ֛אvai.yik.Ra'H7121outH7121to the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, andHe broughtוַיָּ֣שֶׁבvai.Ya.shevH7725the shadowהַצֵּ֗לha.TzelH6738on thestairwayבַּֽ֠מַּעֲלוֹתBa.ma.'a.lotH4609backאֲחֹֽרַנִּ֖ית'a.cho.ra.NitH322tenעֶ֥שֶׂר'E.serH6235stepsבְּמַעֲל֥וֹתbe.ma.'a.LotH4609by whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834it had goneH3381downיָרְדָ֜הya.re.DahH3381on thestairwayמַעֲלֽוֹת׃ פma.'a.LotH4609of Ahazאָחָ֛ז'a.ChazH271.
