3beholdH2009, I am going toburnמַבְעִ֛ירmav.'IrH1197Baashaבַעְשָׁ֖אva'.Sha'H1201and his houseבֵית֑וֹvei.ToH1004, andI will makeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414your houseבֵּ֣יתְךָ֔bei.te.khaH1004like the houseכְּבֵ֖יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֥םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָֽט׃ne.VatH5028.

4Anyone belonging to Baashaלְבַעְשָׁא֙le.va'.Sha'H1201who diesהַמֵּ֤תha.MetH4191in the cityבָּעִ֔ירba.'IrH5892,the dogsהַכְּלָבִ֑יםha.ke.la.VimH3611will eatיֹֽאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398;and anyone belonging to him who diesוְהַמֵּ֥תve.ha.MetH4191in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704,the birdsע֥וֹףofH5775of the skyהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064will eatיֹאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398.”

6And Baashaבַּעְשָׁא֙ba'.Sha'H1201layH7901downוַיִּשְׁכַּ֤בvai.yish.KavH7901with his fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1and was buriedוַיִּקָּבֵ֖רvai.yi.ka.VerH6912inTirzahבְּתִרְצָ֑הbe.tir.TzahH8656,and his sonבְנ֖וֹve.NoH1121Elahאֵלָ֥ה'e.LahH425becameH4427kingוַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427inH8478his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃tach.TavH8478.

9And his servantעַבְדּ֣וֹav.DoH5650Zimriזִמְרִ֔יzim.RiH2174,commanderשַׂ֖רsarH8269of halfמַחֲצִ֣יתma.cha.TzitH4276his chariotsהָרָ֑כֶבha.Ra.khevH7393,conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֤רvai.yik.ShorH7194againstH5921him. Now Elah wasin Tirzahבְתִרְצָה֙ve.tir.TzahH8656drinkingשֹׁתֶ֣הsho.TehH8354himself drunkשִׁכּ֔וֹרshi.KorH7910in the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Arzaאַרְצָ֔א'ar.Tza'H777,whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834wasinH5921chargeH5921ofH5921the householdהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004in Tirzahבְּתִרְצָֽה׃be.tir.TzahH8656.

10Then Zimriזִמְרִי֙zim.RiH2174cameH935inH935and struckוַיַּכֵּ֣הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221him and putH4191him toH4191deathH4191in the twenty-seventhעֶשְׂרִ֣ים וָשֶׁ֔בַע'es.Rim va.She.va'H6242 H7651yearבִּשְׁנַת֙bish.NatH8141of Asaלְאָסָ֖אle.'a.Sa'H609kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and he becameH4427kingוַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427inH8478his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃tach.TavH8478.

11And when he becameH4427kingבְמָלְכ֜וֹve.ma.le.KhoH4427,as soon as he satכְּשִׁבְתּ֣וֹke.shiv.ToH3427on his throneכִּסְא֗וֹkis.'OH3678, hekilledהִכָּה֙hi.KahH5221allכָּל־kol-H3605the householdבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֔אba'.Sha'H1201;he did not leaveH7604a single maleמַשְׁתִּ֣ין בְּקִ֑ירmash.Tin be.KirH8366 H7023aliveH7604, either of hisrelativesוְגֹאֲלָ֖יוve.go.'a.LavH1350or of his friendsוְרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ve.re.'E.huH7453.

12So Zimriזִמְרִ֔יzim.RiH2174eliminatedוַיַּשְׁמֵ֣דvai.yash.MedH8045allכָּל־kol-H3605the householdבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֑אba'.Sha'H1201,in accordance with the wordכִּדְבַ֤רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834He spokeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696againstאֶל־'el-H413Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֔אba'.Sha'H1201throughבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027Jehuיֵה֥וּאye.Hu'H3058the prophetהַנָּבִֽיא׃ha.na.Vi'H5030,
