Proverbs 29:22-27
22An 1angry person stirs up strife, And a hot-tempered person abounds in wrongdoing.23A person’s 2pride will bring him low, But a 3humble spirit will obtain honor.24One who is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He 4hears the oath but tells nothing.25The 5fear of man 6brings a snare, But one who 7trusts in the Lord will be protected.268Many seek the ruler’s 9favor, But 10justice for mankind comes from the Lord.27An 11unjust person is an abomination to the righteous, And one who is 12upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
