Proverbs 29:22-27
22An 1angry man stirs up strife, And a hot-tempered man abounds in transgression.23A man’s 2pride will bring him low, But a 3humble spirit will obtain honor.24He who is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He 4hears the oath but tells nothing.25The 5fear of man 6brings a snare, But he who 7trusts in the Lord will be exalted.268Many seek the ruler’s 9favor, But 10justice for man comes from the Lord.27An 11unjust man is abominable to the righteous, And he who is 12upright in the way is abominable to the wicked.
