Context of John 9:24

22His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had already reached the decision that if anyone confessed Him to be Christ, he was to be excommunicated from the synagogue. 23It was for this reason that his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.” So for a second time they summoned the man who had been blind, and said to him, “Give glory to God; we know that this Man is a sinner.” 25He then answered, “Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” 26So they said to him, “What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?”
