Isaiah 47:8-10
8“Now, then, hear this, you 1luxuriant one, Who 2lives securely, Who says in her heart, ‘3I am, and there is no one besides me. I will 4not sit as a widow, Nor know the loss of children.’9But these 5two things will come on you 6suddenly in one day: Loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in full measure In spite of your many 7sorceries, In spite of the great power of your spells.10You felt 8secure in your wickedness and said, ‘9No one sees me,’ Your 10wisdom and your knowledge, 11they have led you astray; For you have said in your heart, ‘12I am, and there is no one besides me.’
