Isaiah 47:8-10
8“Now, then, hear this, you 1sensual one, Who 2dwells securely, Who says in 3your heart, ‘4I am, and there is no one besides me. I will 5not sit as a widow, Nor know loss of children.’9But these 6two things will come on you 7suddenly in one day: Loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in full measure In spite of your many 8sorceries, In spite of the great power of your spells.10You felt 9secure in your wickedness and said, ‘10No one sees me,’ Your 11wisdom and your knowledge, 12they have deluded you; For you have said in your heart, ‘13I am, and there is no one besides me.’
