Hebrews 4:12-16

12For 1the word of God is 2living and 3active, and sharper than any two-edged 4sword, even penetrating as far as the division of 5soul and 6spirit, of both joints and marrow, and 7able to 8judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13And 9there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are 10open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom 11we must answer.

14Therefore, since we have a great 12high priest who has 13passed through the heavens, Jesus 14the Son of God, let’s hold firmly to our 15confession. 15For we do not have 16a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been 17tempted in all things just as we are, yet 18without sin. 16Therefore let’s 19approach the throne of grace with 20confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
