Ephesians 1:9-23

9He 12made known to us the mystery of His will, 3according to His good pleasure which He 4set forth in Him, 10regarding His plan of 5the fullness of the times, 6to bring all things together in Christ, things 7in the heavens and things on the earth. 118In Him we also 9have obtained an inheritance, having been 10predestined 11according to the purpose of Him who works all things 12in accordance with the plan of His will, 12to the end that 13we who were the first to hope in the 14Christ would be 15to the praise of His glory. 13In 16Him, 17you also, after listening to 18the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also 19believed, you were 20sealed in 21Him with 22the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14who is a 23first installment of 24our inheritance, in regard to the 25redemption of 26God’s own possession, 27to the praise of His glory.

15For this reason I too, 28having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and 29your love for 30all the 31saints, 1632do not cease giving thanks for you, 33while making mention of you in my prayers; 17that the 34God of our Lord Jesus Christ, 35the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of 36wisdom and of 37revelation in the 38knowledge of Him. 18I pray that 39the eyes of your heart 40may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the 41hope of His 42calling, what are 43the riches of the glory of 44His inheritance in 45the 46saints, 19and what is the 47boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. 48These are in accordance with the working of the 49strength of His might 20which He brought about in Christ, when He 50raised Him from the dead and 51seated Him at His right hand in 52the heavenly places, 21far above 53all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every 54name that is named, not only in 55this age but also in the one to come. 22And He 56put all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him 57head over all things to the church, 23which is His 58body, the 59fullness of Him who 60fills 61all in all.
