Ephesians 1:9-23
9He 12made known to us the mystery of His will, 3according to His 4kind intention which He 5purposed in Him 10with a view to an administration 6suitable to 7the fullness of the times, that is, 8the summing up of all things in Christ, things 9in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 1110also we 1112have obtained an inheritance, having been 13predestined 14according to His purpose who works all things 15after the counsel of His will, 12to the end that we who were the first to hope in 16Christ would be 17to the praise of His glory. 13In 18Him, you also, after listening to 19the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also 20believed, you were 21sealed in 22Him with 23the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is 2425given as a pledge of 26our inheritance, with a view to the 27redemption of 28God’s own possession, 29to the praise of His glory.
15For this reason I too, 30having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and 31your love for 32all the 33saints, 1634do not cease giving thanks for you, 35while making mention of you in my prayers; 17that the 36God of our Lord Jesus Christ, 37the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of 38wisdom and of 39revelation in the 40knowledge of Him. 18I pray that 41the eyes of your heart 42may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the 43hope of His 44calling, what are 45the riches of the glory of 46His inheritance in 47the 48saints, 19and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. 49These are in accordance with the working of the 50strength of His might 20which He brought about in Christ, when He 51raised Him from the dead and 52seated Him at His right hand in 53the heavenly places, 21far above 54all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every 55name that is named, not only in 56this age but also in the one to come. 22And He 57put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as 58head over all things to the church, 23which is His 59body, the 60fullness of Him who 61fills 62all in all.
