1 Corinthians 2:13

13We also speak these things, 1not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, 2combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

1 Corinthians 2:13 in other versions

Context of 1 Corinthians 2:13

11For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. 12Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 14But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But the one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no one.
