1 Samuel 13:4-8
4AllH3605 IsraelH3478 heardH8085 1the newsH559 that SaulH7586 had smittenH5221 the garrisonH5333 of the PhilistinesH6430, and alsoH1571 that IsraelH3478 2had becomeH887 odiousH887 to the PhilistinesH6430. The peopleH5971 were then summonedH6817 3to SaulH7586 at GilgalH1537.
5Now the PhilistinesH6430 assembledH622 to fightH3898 with IsraelH3478, 30,000H7970H505 chariotsH7393 and 6,000H8337H505 horsemenH6571, and 4peopleH5971 like the sandH2344 whichH834 is on the seashoreH3220H8193 in abundanceH7230; and they cameH5927 up and campedH2583 in MichmashH4363, eastH6926 of 5Beth-avenH1007. 6When the menH376 of IsraelH3478 sawH7200 that they were in a straitH6862 (for the peopleH5971 were hard-pressedH5065), then 6the peopleH5971 hidH2244 themselves in cavesH4631, in thicketsH2336, in cliffsH5553, in cellarsH6877, and in pitsH953. 7Also some of the HebrewsH5680 crossedH5674 the JordanH3383 into the landH776 of 7GadH1410 and GileadH1568. But as for SaulH7586, he was stillH5750 in GilgalH1537, and allH3605 the peopleH5971 followedH310 him tremblingH2729.
8Now 8he waitedH3176 sevenH7651 daysH3117, according to the appointedH4150 timeH4150 setH834 by SamuelH8050, but SamuelH8050 did not comeH935 to GilgalH1537; and the peopleH5971 were scatteringH6327 from him.
