14When they cameἐλθόντωνelthontōnG2064to the crowdὄχλονochlonG3793,a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444cameπροσῆλθενprosēlthenG4334up to Jesus, fallingG1120on his kneesG1120beforeG1120Him and sayingG3004,

15“Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,haveG1653mercyἐλέησόνeleēsonG1653on my sonυἱόν,huionG5207, for he is alunaticσεληνιάζεταιselēniazetaiG4583and is veryG2560illG2192 G2560;for he oftenπολλάκιςpollakisG4178fallsπίπτειpipteiG4098into the fireπῦρpurG4442and oftenπολλάκιςpollakisG4178into the waterὕδωρ.hudōrG5204.

16I broughtπροσήνεγκαprosēnegkaG4374him to Your disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101,and they couldἠδυνήθησανēdunēthēsanG1410not cureθεραπεῦσαι.¶therapeusaiG2323him.”

17And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈποκριθεὶςApokritheisG611and saidG3004,“You unbelievingἄπιστοςapistosG571and pervertedδιεστραμμένη,diestrammenēG1294generationγενεὰgeneaG1074,howG2193longπότεpoteG2193 G4219shall I be with you? HowG2193longπότεpoteG2193 G4219shall I putἀνέξομαιanexomaiG430up with you? BringφέρετέphereteG5342him hereὧδε.hōdeG5602to Me.”
