13Then the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Thusכָּ֣כָהKa.khahH3602will the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478eatיֹאכְל֧וּyo.khe.LuH398their breadלַחְמָ֖םlach.MamH3899uncleanטָמֵ֑אta.Me'H2931among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֕םba.go.YimH1471whereאֲשֶׁ֥ר שָֽׁם׃'a.Sher ShamH834H8033I will banishאַדִּיחֵ֖ם'a.di.ChemH5080them.”
14But I saidוָאֹמַ֗רva.'o.MarH559, “Ahאֲהָהּ֙'a.HahH162,Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068!Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009, I haveneverלֹ֣אlo'H3808beenH2930defiledH2930;for from my youthמִנְּעוּרַ֣יmi.ne.'u.RaiH5271untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעַ֔תָּה'A.tahH6258I have neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808eatenאָכַ֙לְתִּי֙'a.Khal.tiH398whatH5038diedH5038of itself or was tornוּטְרֵפָ֤הu.te.re.FahH2966by beastsH2966,norוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808has anyuncleanפִּגּֽוּל׃ סpi.GulH6292meatבְּשַׂ֥רbe.SarH1320ever enteredבָ֥אva'H935my mouthבְּפִ֖יbe.FiH6310.”
15Then He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Seeרְאֵ֗הre.'EhH7200,I will giveנָתַ֤תִּֽיna.Ta.tiH5414you cow’sהַבָּקָ֔רha.ba.KarH1241dungצְפִיעֵ֣יtze.fu.'eiH6832in placeתַּ֖חַתTa.chatH8478of humanהָֽאָדָ֑םha.'a.DamH120dungגֶּלְלֵ֣יge.LeiH1561overעֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ס'a.lei.HemH5921which you will prepareוְעָשִׂ֥יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213your breadלַחְמְךָ֖lach.me.KhaH3899.”
16Moreover, He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120,beholdH2009, I am going tobreakשֹׁבֵ֤רsho.VerH7665the staffמַטֵּה־ma.teh-H4294of breadלֶ֙חֶם֙le.chemH3899in Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LimH3389,and they will eatוְאָכְלוּ־ve.'a.khe.lu-H398breadלֶ֥חֶםLe.chemH3899byweightבְּמִשְׁקָ֖לbe.mish.KalH4948and with anxietyוּבִדְאָגָ֑הu.vid.'a.GahH1674,and drinkיִשְׁתּֽוּ׃yish.TuH8354waterוּמַ֕יִםu.Ma.yimH4325bymeasureבִּמְשׂוּרָ֥הbim.su.RahH4884and in horrorוּבְשִׁמָּמ֖וֹןu.ve.shi.ma.MonH8078,
17becauseלְמַ֥עַןle.Ma.'anH4616breadלֶ֣חֶםLe.chemH3899and waterוָמָ֑יִםva.Ma.yimH4325will be scarceיַחְסְר֖וּyach.se.RuH2637;and they will be appalledוְנָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ve.na.Sha.muH8074with oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376anotherוְאָחִ֔יוve.'a.ChivH251andwasteוְנָמַ֖קּוּve.na.Ma.kuH4743awayH4743in their iniquityבַּעֲוֹנָֽם׃ פba.'a.vo.NamH5771.
